It says it a player who is selling it. They said the ring was issued to a player who was 6'2", 210 lbs.

Anyone want to take any guesses.

Without knowing his height/weight I thought Edge first. Only because he left on bad terms.

It would be cool to know whose ring it was.

Huh. 6'2", 220 lbs. The hand holding the ring in the picture appears white/caucasian. Why would Kurt Warner be selling his ring?

I thought White guy to, but it looks like one of those professional third party ebay sellers that made the ad. If you look at the Q&A at the bottom of the page it is talking about the player as a 3rd party.

So the mystery is even harder because he could be black, white, yellow, red, who knows?

My guess is Aaron Fransisco. He is exactly 6-2, 210.

Only in the first picture. It's a clearly a black guy in others.

I saw the early hints toward maybe the ring being Kurt Warners and it would'nt surprise me in the least as his SuperBowl ring he won with the lambs has been lost and found on the bottom of his swimming pool in Arizona. The kids are allowed to play with his awards and stuff. It was no big deal to Kurt or Brenda.Diamonds and all.

Kurt would be glad to part with anything earthy to give to his "First Things First" foundation that does so much charity work ALL over the world. If it raises money for the homeless or those without food, shelter, clothes to be warm, like his coat drive still in Louie.I'm quite sure Kurt would be VERY willing to part with it.

It does'nt seem to be Kurt afterall but if it was.No surprise. Its just another earthly thing. His mind thinks a lot different that most people walking around today.Praise GOD for that too.

Let me also say Kurt Warner is only about one thing with the CARDINALS of the NFL and that is every season to do nothing less than WIN the SUPERBOWL every year he plays for them or sits the bench.Either way.Thats it.Read his books or many other articles written about the guy.I'm much older than him.He could be my kid and I would be very proud of him.:D

P.S.S. I being a gem collector for most of my life and having all the tools saw that it has 1.85 carats of diamonds total and they are'nt even white diamonds they are I-J in color.Diamonds in color begin at the letter D as perfect white(almost blue),all the way to G-H is the only all white diamonds. After the letter H the twinge of yellow starts in the color of the diamond.Thats not a good thing unless a diamond is a fancy colored yellow diamond.

So really not the highest in quality of diamonds just in color to say the least and also in clarity also in I2 quality.Meaning not the clearest of the diamond specimen either. The total of the appraisal of the ring by this GIA certified person was only 9,890.00 .The team has to absorb that cost for any of you who did'nt know.It comes off of the total allowed for players each year.I did my homework on this.So it depends on how much it means to the owner on what kind of design and how expensive he wants to get with each ring.It could go to any number He or She wanted to go.Rubies could have been used but it was enameled instead.

I've collected stones of every kind for about 25 years and I love the business and wish I could have grown up to be a Lapidarist or gemstone cutter.Diamond cutter would be my dream job.Its a very rare job and most are done by machine due to the lack of skilled craftsmen in the world today.I could speak all day on this.Forgive me.

Was there a player on the practice squad last season that wore # 38?

Selling the ring at over 3 times the APPRAISED VALUE is a joke.I'd love to have it at a human reasonable amount of money. It is appraised at close to 9,900.00 and asking that much more for sentimental value to a very rich ARIZONAN is kinda shooting for the moon.I'm sure he'll probably get it.Even tho the economy is bad.We still have the rich amoung us who have money to throw away on something like this.No doubt.

The guy selling it has a last name of Keyes. I would agree with everyone, I bet it's Dennis Keyes ring.

Nobody will pay that price for the ring. My high price wouldn't exceed $10,000. And it is very sad a player would give up something that so many people gave so much blood, sweet and hard work for unless they truely were down on hard times.

And they also know that it fits the player's left and right ring finger. Without it wearing it, that's a tough thing to know for certain.

If it is Keyes, he was only on ps 2008, signed a futures contract in February, got hurt in camp and was injured/waived. So maybe he does really need the money. He's unemployed right now, as far as the nfl goes.

Most players always ordered thier rings oversized for when they quit football and got fat and were still able to wear thier rings all the time.Plus it had them also recieve larger rings with more gold weight in it and everyone wanted thier rings to be as big and GAUDY as it could be to stand out.

Any ring can have an inner piece inserted to fit any size finger.I would'nt dare cut a ring like this to have it sized down. You never get your gold back and they even charge you for it,when they made money off of the gold.

Just have the ring insert put in it to fit your size.Sizing up is no problem either.Especially with this style ring.:D

I liked the answer to the question of why he was selling it:

A multitude of reasons all personal and none catastrophic

Good to know he wasn't hit by a catastrophe! :)
