NFC Playoffs 2008

Not sure if this has been mentioned already or not (probably has in many different ways)...but for some reason it just hit me today:

Giants: Last year--first round bye. This year: Did not return
Panthers: See Giants
Vikings: Last year--one & done. This year: Still in it
Cardinals: Last year--SUPERBOWL. This year: Still in it
Falcons: Last year--one & done. This year: Did not return
Eagles: NFC championship game. This year: One & done.


So we have (3) Did not returns, (1) One & done, and (2) Still in it.

I think we're doin' pretty good, Since half of last year's NFC playoff teams didn't even make it back, and one of the remaining 3 has been eliminated.

I have no doubts we CAN beat the Saints. IMHO, the ONLY determining factor will be fatigue. If we're fresh enough, we win.

I think you need to also mention the biggest missing piece of all - the Steelers!

The Vikings still have a chance to be "one and done".

I think beating the pack was huge for our credability.
even at 10-6 we were still a team that was the best of a bad division in the eyes of the world.
