The pro bowl is a joke, period. Means absolutely nothing now and most of the time a significant portion voted in bow out from playing in it. Now it's a bonus in contracts and nothing more.

A not so relevant post that I don't know where to put. Saw a youtube video the other day listing the highest-paid NFL player in every position. Surprisingly (maybe not) more than half of them are from NFC West. They are:
DL: Aaron Donald
CB: Jalen Ramsey
S: Jamal Admas
OL: Trent Williams
WR: DeAndre Hopkins
TE: George Kittle
P: Michael Dickson

The ones who are not in NFC West are:
QB: Patrick Mahomes
RB: Christian McCaffrey

I like budda but he isn't having a pro bowl season, some crucial missed tackles this season, something that should be the strength of his game
Jalen thompson played better
Chandler Jones wasnt much a factor beside the titans game
Conner probably deserve to be alternate, same for kyler at this point

Agree. There’s all kinds of bad players making the pro bowl.

Brady, Rodgers, Adams, Donald, Kittle, Cook, Kamara, etc. They’re all bums. LOL.

I do not agree on Conner and Kyler being just an alternate if you consider a majority of the season instead of the current 'what the hell is going on'... though Conner is still bawling regardless of what the rest of the team is currently doing

Seems like nobody on here thinks CJ should have made it. He was admittedly better a couple years ago, but he is still 12th in the league in sacks and tied for first in FF, despite missing 2 games this year and playing next to a suspect d-line missing its best player. Sure, 5 of those sacks happened in one game, but he was also a big reason we won that game.

Budda, on the other hand, is having his weakest statistical season since his rookie year, and people generally seem fine with him making it. I'm not sure if he is even the best safety on this team right now.

I like that Kyler is there and isn't one of those "Too big for my britches to play The Pro Bowl" QBs.

He had 10.5 sacks. They occurred in 6 games in a 17 game season. Ironically he also 6 games where he had 2 or fewer total tackles. He disappeared too often. He was okay this year but nothing special.
