I don't believe it, I do believe it's possible with three teams desperate playing for playoff berths.

Its all about how good those teams are, not about how desperate those teams are. This is the NFL, every team wants to win every game. They are not going to play better because they are desperate, they may play worse.

Now if those teams are out of it, then they might mail it in, or they might play for pride. So, going down the stretch, teams are not going to play better than they are, but they might play worse.

Here is the question.... If we have the #2 seed locked up and can't get the #1 seed, but can eliminate Seattle from the playoffs in week 17, so we play everyone or rest the starters?

We would want Seattle in there because they can go in and beat the Panthers thus bringing us back home for the NFC championship game.

I'm just kidding sort of.

This is a very good point. While I would never say "I want to play this team or that team", I would say I would rather play at home.

We'd want Seattle in as the 6th seed, though, guaranteeing they have to go to CAR if they advance. If they are the 5 seed and the other WC team wins their playoff game, they'd be coming to AZ.

Seattle is going to be in the playoffs because I can't see the Falcons or the Bucs finishing with a better record then they will. I think the last week of the season is going to be meaningless for both teams.

issue here is this: if AZ beats MINN, then most scenarios have SEA as the 5th seed, even if SEA loses to AZ here in week 17

Eagles destroying the Pats in MA. Will be tough for us to win in Philly

Yes. Proving there ARE actually limits to what Belichick can do. Did they have to suit up a ball boy this week?

This was sent from my cell pjone so please excise any typeos or other errors.

Did you guys actually watch the game or even see the stats from this game? If you did then you would know that Philly did everything BUT "destroy" the Pats.

#AZCardinals 3-0 on the road vs. NFC West teams this season, opponents on third down 2/29; Seahawks 1/8, 49ers 0/9, Rams 1/12. #Defense

The Pats completely beat themselves in that game.... And that was being decimated with injuries.. Anyone thinking that W makes Philly legit is way off base...
