All 8 home games should be winnable, except maybe the Rams.

We have the road schedule from hell, and watch the NFL send us to Green Bay in December.

Looks right now as if we will be at the top of the 2019 draft, and that is when and where we will have our choice of QBs. So, if we don't strike gold in some way this coming year, not to worry we will have our chance the next year. We just have to suffer through one Browns' type season. Guess we should start now at reading up on who the top 2019 QBs in the draft will be.

I guess our "new" long term plan should secretly include making sure we get that top pick in 2019. So don't go all ape on our new coach when he starts out 1-15 next year. We should be cheering over each loss bringing us closer to our goal #1 of our 'new' plan. Nothing wrong with this coming year being simply a year to build the team in anticipation of our franchise savior's arrival the following year.

It would be nice to have a solid OL and WR corp all ready in place and waiting for him. Let's begin by getting the best OL coach there is, and start letting Fitz build and train a great WR corp (Fitzgerald's Legendary Air Corp - give some FLAC).

Here is a preview of the 2019 NFL Draft: http://walterfootball.com/draft2019charlie.php

No can do, I will never cheer a loss. Lose all those games and then select Jamarcus Russell and your set back for years to come. I'll celebrate the wins and let the chips fall where they may in the draft.

Well, I can appreciate your feelings. But we might just have to step out of that mindset for a year if we ever want to be a championship franchise. It's not like we are going out to lose on purpose. We are just rooting for our future success while allowing the inevitable to happen. Don't fight it, simply appreciate the result.

It'll be interesting to see whom we are paired with in the preseason. Usually we play most of the AFC West because they're so close, but that would seem problematic when they're all on our schedule. Same with the NFC North.

I bet we play Dallas, Houston, Denver, Tennessee.

damn... I'm gonna get to go to two games where I live in LA... in a year where we are likely pretty bad. Oh well... will be fun regardless.

Oh if that were only true, I see the same teams every year drafting at or near the top. Nothing is guaranteed. So I'll keep rooting for wins, no matter the situation. I guess I am more into instant gratification. You can win and yet still build for the future, just look at the teams that are always drafting near the bottom.

I STRONGLY encourage anyone who's never been to make the trek to Green Bay next year. We did it the last time the Cards were there and it was an incredibly awesome experience. My girl went to school at nearby Lawrence University in Appleton so she knows the area, which was super helpful. We stayed in Appleton at the team hotel, and took a local bus service to the game, which was also very smart as parking there is beyond tight. Our bus broke down minutes after departing, but another bus from a competing bus service stopped within minutes and piled us all into their bus - and the fans welcomed us all with open arms despite the overcrowding, passing out beers and good cheer to all. You can wear your Cards gear to the stadium without fear of verbal or physical assault, unlike some cities (cough Philadelphia). I think we may go again next year, and possibly to Minnesota too. We're thinking we'll kill our local season tickets, since we just moved 3 hours south, and do a couple of road games every year instead.

And I have been to 22 different stadiums to see the cards play including Philly and I'll say I was treated the worst in Green Bay then any other. I do agree that you can wear your cards gear without fear, but I do that everywhere without fear.

Didn't stop them in 2014 when we played San Diego in back to back weeks pre season week 4 then regular season week 1.

I will probably make the GB game maybe MN too. I went to Lambeau when it was Leinart against Favre years ago (got our butts kicked), I've been in the new Vikings stadium a couple of times just not for a game and it really is nice (ugly from the outside though).

Speaking of Minnesota anyone going to be in town for the Super Bowl? I will be out there Jan 8 - Feb 6 working.

Looks like KC, GB, Minn, and Atl are all within my driving radius from StL. Depends on the timing but they are all within play for me.

The LA Chargers will be a hike but have to do it or wait another eight years to cross it off my list. Only other two I’m missing are Baltimore (2019) and Seattle (whichever year it fits my schedule).

We have 10 left because they keep moving the target...:mulli:
