Head of officials said that should have been a 15 yard penalty. You cannot hit a QB below or around the knees..ANYTIME! ....Wow..that would have made a difference huh. Vikings would have had first down in Red Zone....Instead Saints got an INT.

If QBs were actually babied for their protection then I'd be all for these rules.
They're protected because the NFL wants to maximize their dollar value.
It's a sad rule.

Well, in this particular example, the better team did all that.

Just because the better team screwed themselves (and therefore should only blame themselves for it) doesn't mean that they weren't the better team.
