Could to agree more...!!! "Whizenstupid, the QB Killer." :bang: :mulli:

if Wiz was a QB killer, Ben, Rivers and Warner all would have suffered under him, instead of thriving.

you can't kill something that's already dead and Leinart, Kolb, Anderson and Skelton were basically corpses out there. now, he's the one who put those corpses out there and for that I've got no problem with people taking umbrage with, but to say he killed those guys ignores the fact that all of them were basically dead to begin with.

Kolb was brain dead due to injury and the others congenital.

I agree with you totally, but I would like to point out that this is the exact same argument I've used in defense of Russ Grimm in the past. That you can't coach up the type of suck we had on the offensive line. I get that everyone hates Grimm for what he did during the SB, but I still believe he had very little to work with.

Granted, the two circumstances are different, but it's the same argument.

He had to have input into all those Warner replacements.

Kolb and Anderson and to an extent Skelton were his idea of good enough to get the job done.

Anyone who thinks they were is someone I am so so SOOOOOOOOO glad is on some other team.

Rivers was a fixture and mature, this kid is as good as doomed.

The OL with the suckle it had performed bette this year than last. Still not great but better. So apparently it can be coached up if even a little.

And as had been said before That makes him a ****ty Personnel man. But the guy can coach.

I don't disagree with that at all--yet they still had, what, 3 or 4 oline coaches this year whereas Whis only had Grimm. Plus, it's not the same oline. I was dead wrong about Levi--getting rid of him seemed to help man, not in a technical sense (Sowell is pretty awful), but in a chemistry and work-ethic sense. I do think the line Grimm had to work with was worse than the one this year in talent. Not by a lot, but be enough.

In any case, wasn't my intention to derail the discussion ya'll are having, and I agree with Cheese's point. I just think people get bent about Grimm over the SB halftime and don't look any further and don't want to hear any more.

Im one of the few that didn't care one iota about Grimm watching the halftime show. SB halftimes are too long anyway and the team clearly came out and played better in the 2nd half. Couldnt have had to bad an effect I'm guessing :)

I respectfully disagree which is a polite way of saying it.

He presided over some of the most epic laydowns in Cardinal history.

The snow game in New England and the prime time dud in Philly.

His team seemed to be one of the most arrogant, lazy, turn it on when we want to, teams ever.

I tend to credit Warner more and more as time goes by for any so called success.

Whiz maybe can coach but I also have no doubt he used leverage between two teams to get the dreaded say so on the roster, game over.

They benefited from him NOT coaching them. Says a lot.

Wow. Seriously don't know what to say to this post. Cards have an incredibly long and storied history of getting blown out and sucking. Whiz has 2 or 3 games of this but yet takes the team to the SB and he still gets no respect.

How many years of pure suckage did we endure as Cards fans? For me it was 30 years with 3 years of fun to watch games.

I just don't know how to process posts like this. God bless and all the best.

I just realized that Whiz's Blink Blink- Pause- calculated response IS a JEDI MIND TICK!

He has never watched the SB or saints 09 playoff loss - Hell He still has Card fans acting like was the 2nd coming of Vince Lombardi - after hiring Mike Miller at OC, destroying 2 handfuls of QB's the oline and losing 13 in a row without any answer on how to get better!

Dude is gifted- not as a HC but gifted he is!

Name one self respecting HC who doesn't have the final say on the 53 who make the team coming out of camp?
