I see my boy McGloin is getting some positive comments. No. 31 is funny.

Yep, good enough to not replace with a drafted rookie at the beginning of next year, not so good that we don't take a QB high in the draft is the option is there.

So far, this is pretty much a perfect season :)

Yep, CP is ranked fairly. If he learns how to handle pressure better and stop the excessive Palmovers then he would move up in the rankings.

Agree, 31 is funny, especially in conjunction with 32.

I don't really understand the purpose of these rankings when they're done every four weeks. What's the lesson to take from them, except as click-bait (which, if so--well done)?

#32 Geno Smith. Glad Iznik and Graves no longer work for the Cardinals. :titanic:

True.

Meh, something to talk about.

Love him or hate him but Tom Brady is a top 5 QB and should be at least number 2 if not number 1. To sum it up most logically. If you asked all the NFL teams who they would wish to have at QB during this season, you would be hard pressed not to have a majority jump between Peyton and Tom and the rest would just be the rest, These ratings are as K9 said, to get some clicks and nothing more :)

I think that Drew Brees would be in that discussion, as well.

It's not who you want, it is who has played the best in the writer's eyes.

It's interesting to see how much better CP is than what we had before, being serviceable to sometimes very good, and there are that many players who are better. The QB talent in the league certainly is much better than it used to be.

i never understood how san diego let him walk, its not like he was used up

His shoulder was jacked up and they had already drafted Rivers. He was also not playing nearly as well as when we hooked on with Payton.

Clif has most of it right. Brees was never able to take the Chargers anywhere, and they'd already invested a ton in Rivers. He had 5 years with the Chargers and was more or less .500 in those years. Went 11-5 and was given the franchise tag, and then his QB rating dropped by 15 points on the way to a 9-7 record and missing the playoffs.

He was a solid QB for the Chargers, but his production in the dome and fair weather of the NFC South has been gaudy. Zero seasons with less than 4300 yards since he went to the Saints.

Jeebus.

Unless you wanted us to go back to discussing the refs in last Sundays game. :D

My point is be realistic here, it is not about who I want...which QB does one think THE NFL TEAMS WOULD WANT RIGHT NOW leading their team this season if anyone wants to take a list of who is the best seriously. Manning, Brady and yes K9 I could see Brees in the discussion too. But anyone who would say Wilson right now would be lying out their butt or a complete idiot and they have him ranked up there ahead of Brady. That is hilarious
