I think Kyle Shanahan is the most overrated coach in the league.
Wilkos is rated correctly.
Agreed on Shanahan.
He has some good offensive concepts, but had a long way to go as a coach.
I admittedly don't go down the rabbit holes too much, but am surprised he didn't get roasted for the GB loss
They had a drive where they went up 27-23 they featured 4 runs and 4 passes, the last of which was an incompletion on 3rd and 2
They then score a FG on their next possession by running on 7 of 8 plays, until throwing an incompletion on 3rd and 4
Those drives took up 9 minutes, scored points and have them a 7 point lead in the 4th
Next possession goes run, pass, pass. Takes 2 minutes, moves 9 yards and the second pass was no gain where the guy went out of bounds
Defense does a good job and they get the ball back.
Go run, QB scramble on a pass play for a years and then a sack. Drive loses 12 yards and only takes a minute as GB burns their TOs
GB takes advantage of the short field and scores the tying TD in 4 quick plays
On the ensuing kickoff they get a 32 yard return and a 15 yard penalty
So ball just shy of midfield, 3 timeouts, on the road against Aaron Rodgers (who just had an easy score) and 1:49 on the clock
The RB stat lines were 12 for 87 and 14 for 61
GB has no timeouts
Boy genius gets a 7 yard completion on 1st down - now past midfield, 2nd and 3
Looking panicked they get up and throw a quick short pass
3rd down Beathard throws an interception down the field
Your a 1 win team going for a road upset. Run the ball on 2nd and 3, run it on 3rd and 3.
You have over a minute if clock, 3 time outs and 15-20 yards needed to get a good FG attempt to win the game (which if played right you dictate with little or no time left)
They completely soiled themselves
They've done that in close games since he took over.
On one hand they are in games, which is good..... But have no idea what to do when there
