Holy cow, isn't that like an 18 hour time difference? Will be interesting. Our luck it'll be us and then our next game will be Thursday night football lol

They would have to play the game almost a day in advance. So if the NFL wants the game to be on a Sunday they would have to play the game in Australia on a Monday.

Yeah, the games US games start here around 4-5am Monday morning for the early window, and then 7-8am for the later games, with Sunday Night Football at like 10:00am, Melbourne time.

When business and making money overrides the objective of the sport, which is making sure there is a fair playing field to decide which team truly deserves to be the best according to their record. Yes, I get it that it is entertainment and that is just as valid as my stance because that is now what people focus on. So, send teams all over the globe regardless of how it might affect the game and their upcoming game... and hey, let's make it an 18-game season too lol

I suspect they'll make it a week 1 Friday night game in the U.S., just like the one in Brazil in 2024. Friday 5:30pm Pacific time equates to Saturday 12:30pm in Melbourne. Only -5 hours difference for the Rams - less of a change than for an east coast team traveling to Frankfurt (+6 hours), and in a "normal" NFL time slot as opposed to the super early morning games they play in Europe - though on the other hand, the flights would be MUCH longer since it's in the southern hemisphere.
