It seems likely two quarterbacks are projected to go in the first round: Cam Ward from Miami -- perhaps first overall to the Tennessee Titans? -- and Colorado's Shedeur Sanders (to the New York Giants, maybe?).

But what about Jaxson Dart, the Ole Miss QB with some first-round buzz?

In the latest NFL mock draft from our Christian D'Andrea, he's not in the first round. But in the latest ESPN mock from Mike Tannenbaum, he's got Dart going to ... the Los Angeles Rams!

That makes some sense, doesn't it? The Rams need a Matthew Stafford heir apparent, so why not start now with a pick late in the first round?

Here's Tannenbaum's take:

Dart excelled in Lane Kiffin's scheme at Ole Miss, throwing 72 touchdown passes over his three years in Oxford. He has risen draft boards in the past few months, too. He had a great week at the Senior Bowl and was, in my opinion, the best thrower at the combine. Dart has a sturdy lower frame and really good movement skills, and he has a lot of upside. Matthew Stafford's contract restructure means he will be the Rams' starter for at least another season, but if I'm taking over the Rams' GM role today, I'm absolutely eyeing the future.

There you have it! Be sure to check out the latest NFL mock draft from D'Andrea!
