Charles Davis singled out the Cards as having the best draft. Says we addressed our needs and got great value on many of our picks.

Nice to hear...

I think the bay area had the best draft. San Francisco and Oakland did real good in the draft. Clevland and Atlanta are close behind them.

Cleveland had the best draft bar none. They got two top five players. 'Nuff said.

I think Cleveland had a great draft. I'm not that high on Brady Quinn, but he does have poise and leadership skills, and to land both him and Joe Thomas, and the young CB on day one was a coup.

Carolina seemed to do very well, and San Diego was very good as usual.

graded on a curve

they gave up what could very well be a top 10 1st round pick for next year

I think they have a very real shot at watching their number one pick in the entire draft next year go to someone else. Imagine that. Especially if either Quinn or Thomas or both are sputtering. I think Cleveland showed all the good judgment of a desperate crack addict. And to roll over for Dallas that way with their history of ripping off teams in trades. Absolutely ridiculous.

I get nervous when the babbling heads like our draft. This draft proved again that most of them have no clue. Any idiot could see JaMarcus Russell is a physical Superman and worthy of a high pick.

It's the grading of many of the other non-super players where the evaluators just wing it and plagiarize each other.

Well, I'm taking the BRAVO ZULU from the NFL Network as being the the right conclusion. The Cards could not have done better in addressing the need issues. Would have been nice to pickup another CB, but I think we filled the most important areas. Another thumbs up.

I think our draft was a C. I give the nod to L brown. But, in A Branch and B Davis, we may have only gotten marginal improvement. Through rose colored galsses, this may be a A draft. We are a long ways away from being able to pencil in A Branch or B Davis as effective starters. A Branch is another G Watson and/or D Dockett. Who knows how much he will contribute as a rookie. And, LB B Davia is short. True, a LB under 5-10 makes it every once in a while in the NFL, but its rare. I see LB B Davis contributing on Special Teams, but I cannot pencil him in the LB rotation.
