Uh oh.

Let's go Stanton! That streak of not playing since 2010 is over. Time to show why you're worth those millions as a backup.

Is it sad to think the season is over? Next week will be a bloodbath and not in a good way

That has to mean Logan is active for the game.

Got to hope Stanton can keep injury free because LT is definitely not ready for real time games.

Oh, let me tell you foolish mortals what will happen. Yee who have seen so much from Cardinal days of yore and yet can not realize the cruel twist on thee crest on thy bird's helm. Stanton is going to tear it up. He is going to throw touchdowns in buckets, and then... and then we will be fooled, the franchise thinking we have the QB of the future and he will stink it up for a few years while we wait foolishly for him to reenact what he will do today lol

Palmer hopefully will be recovered from a minor shoulder tweak by next week. If there is a game this year where it makes even a little sense to have a backup qb in the game, this is the one.

The receivers hopefully have practiced the "behind the back" catch because that's where Stanton likes to throw it.

It's probably smart to sit Palmer. It's a nerve issue, and nerve issues can linger. Sharp pain while you are attempting to put touch on passes is no bueno.

This is all about giving him the best shot to be well for 49ers game.

Then hopefully he can recover with the bye week after the 49ers game.

Now that we see it's this bad that he's missing a game, I wonder if this had some impact on his throws the last few weeks. My guess is yes.

I wasn't impressed with Stanton in preseason but think about how big a win this could be. Palmer gets rest and we go to 2-0. D and our receivers need to come up big. YAC important in this one.

GO CARDINALS!

Think how bad it would be for the Giants, Coughlin, and Eli to lose to the Cardinals at home, early, and to a backup QB and be 0-2.

C'mon Cardinals do something to make others look like laughingstocks.

You owe that to the Giants after all those decades in the NFC East.
