Obligatory Cardinals disclaimer: RG3 is better than any QB we've had since Kurt Warner. Understood.

That said...

I'm gonna go ahead and say it.....I think RG3 is the next Mike Vick. Don't forget that Vick has had some prolonged periods of brilliance......he's led his team to victories in many games. But the dude is just so injury prone. Can you really say that RG3 seems like a guy who'll play a full 16 games every year for years to come?

They should spend their entire draft this year on O-line upgrades to protect him.

He's either going to learn not to run with it so much or the hits will add up. His arm is plenty good, and he can pick and choose when to dart, hopefully when it's safe to. I hope he'll mature.

I agree, the NFL is so intense and dual threat QB's will not last long. Their bodies take a pounding. RGIII has already been beat up this year and it's his first year.

I agree Broseph, Wilson is going to get his soon too with the way he is getting into the field of fire. Back to the game, Lynch just lynched his offense with a stupid fumble

I just want some sort of running game. I think the poor QB play was extremely magnified by our inability to do anything on the ground. If we can at least have some sort of respectable running game and a few new pieces on the OL, I believe Kolb could be successful. It was absolutely disheartening watching this team get minus yards running the ball almost the entire season.

Been a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time since the Cardinals have had a strong running game

A running QB, that runs as much as RGIII is going to last about as long as a runningback. That's the risk.

You can definitely be a dual threat QB. It's a huge advantage, you just can't tuck it and run it 10-20 times a game. Run when it's safe, and limit the amount. Than the defense plays looser and the QB can pick up huge chunks with out taking a hit. Play smart, think long term, and it's a gigantic benefit when you can freeze the defenses by running up to the LOS and then chucking it.

Just can't run all day and rely on it constantly IMO.

That over throw COULD be the game right there. That's 6 right there. And then a sack to put them out of FG range?

Are they running Whiz's system?

Hawks gotta go beast mode. Not the time to get cute.

I will say this.... If you are enjoying Washington's run game then that is what Mike McCoy can bring to the Cardinals.

Why would you go for McCoy when you can actually have a Shanahan? Kyle Shanahan?

Skins can't do jack squat offensively now that RGIII can't move, hawks are wearing them down despite not scoring...IMO the dams about to break

I am convinced that Running QB's similar to Luck, Rodgers, & Wilson are the future of the league. These smaller track stars are gonna get killed at some point.

I think McCoy is more versatile, and flexible with working with the players he is given.
