They picked up two players that can help them right away.

I really liked the Lakers' draft. Now if there is any truth to the rumors that Gary Payton is interested in signing with them I don't think it will matter if Jason Kidd goes to San Antonio.

Am I the only one who feels that Jason Kidd is a much better fit with the Dallas Mavericks than the San Antonio Spurs?

Nope. The Mavs love to run and the Spurs are more of a halfcourt team.

I don't think Jason Kidd can really improve any championship quality team.

What can he do offensively that Seve Nash can't? Run the floor well? Mmmm the Mavs are already a better fastbreak team than the Nets.
Defensively Kidd is better but still gets killed by quick guards.

Mavs and Kings certainly don't need Kidd for their style because they are already doing it. Kidd himself would probably love to play for them.

I think the Suns had an excellent draft. A team that was already athletic became more so. This team is going to be a matchup nightmare for most teams. They are going to fly up and down the court. Z can shoot, and Barbosa can really push the ball. I can see times when Marbury and Barbosa play together. With their quickness and penetration there going to be unguardable. Unless their playing a team with a big center, Zarko will probably get alot of minutes at center or power forward. This team has alot of scorers now. Hopefully they won't forget to play some defense also. Get used to alot of run and gun basketball, just like the old days. This could be the Suns most athletic team they have ever had. This team should be very exciting, and America West should start to sell out again.
