Darnell Dockett is a good player, and played all year hurt, and banged up. I think I ripped on him way too hard this year, and hope he comes back full strength.

Pendy also stated when he filled in for Green in his radio show that he wasnt using Dockett like he did last year. Last year Dockett was allowed to shoot the gaps 90% of the time but this year Pendy said that becuase of all the injuries he held Dockett back way more then he wanted to.

2005 Dockett (#'s before Indy Game) - 46 Tackles, 5 TFL, 1 Sack, 1 INT, 6 PD's, 1 FF, 0 FR, 7 QB Pressure, 9 QB Hits.

Now that is a comparable stats wise season to his first when you consider if his injuries werent over exagerated and if Pendy was right and not just trying to defend his players play.

This wasn't a coach who said it. It was a player. An extremely positive sign.

Dockett dissapointed me this season. I hope he works hard and comes back with that reckless abandon he came into the league with.

This is a hallmark of a successful team. I can't tell you how many articles I've read about how much Peyton Manning, Marvin Harrison, and the rest of the Colts work together in the offseason.

Offseason work is extremely critical on the offensive side of the ball. We saw a dramatic improvement in the passing game this season. But the offseason needs to focus on integrating Leron McCoy fully into the scheme, further improvement from guys like Adam Bergen and Eric Edwards, and getting J.J. Arrington up to speed.

Having the entire O-line healthy from the git-go is imperative.

One thing I don't worry about is the work ethic of Bryant Johnson, Anquan Boldin, Larry Fitzgerald, and Kurt Warner. Their chemistry can only helped by a full offseason of work together.

When players start recognizing and identifying themselves as part of groups of "core players on both sides of the ball, it's a good sign that the team is starting to develop a "wining identy."

Man, with a good O-Line and a solid running game, the Cards could bleed opposing teams to death with long, time consuming scoring drives, every time they get the ball.

And every time the Cards enter the red zone, teams aught to be crapping in their pants, or panties for that matter, for those such-ass teams we should have beaten, but somehow ended up losing to in the past 3 years.
