Nice Win for ASU

This was a good win...I liked the fact they kind of blew UTEP out on the scoreboard. Lat year it was 20 point win against 1AA NAU and a 10 point win against D1 nobodies Utah St IIRC. That was a harbinger of things to come.

Northwestern is going to be much, much tougher although if ASU can keep that game close, Northwestern's kicker is hardly reliable. NU put up some serious points against a good TCU team in Ft Worth and NU never gave up even though they were trailing almost all game.

I don't think ASU played anywhere near their A game but they may need their A game on the road next weekend.

I agree. It was a decent win but I'm not getting too excited yet. We still don't have a running game and our O was hit or miss basically all night. Our O line gave up a few sacks and AW was hurried quite a bit. while our D looked good at times, UTEP's poor execution can't be ignored. Their receivers/TE's were dropping balls and Palmer overthrew a couple guys as well. Northwestern will be a big test for our secondary. We should have Stewart back so that will only help. Their secondary is pretty suspect as well so we should be able to put up some points. It should be a shoot out.
