He was being held before the ball was thrown.

Not even close. There was contact within 5 yards which was perfectly legal and then the contact in the air after the ball was thrown.

I love Harbaugh's intensity! I wish he were our coach. That was a horrible no call & he has every right to hitch about it.

Not sure if you saw the ball land 4-5 ft out of bounds rendering it uncatchable.

Great no call, because he also pushed off the defender's head. Best case there is offsetting penalties and replay the down. The refs missed several holding calls on Niner drives..by their offensive line. Twice in a row at one point. They also missed a defensive holding call against the niners earlier in the game when the guy impeded the receiver's path about 20 yards down the field, then grabbed at him when the ball was in the air afterwards, which was a weak PI and good no-call, but the hold was blatant. No call, and the Ravens had to punt.

Jim's over the top antics are priceless though. He's such an uberdouche it is wonderful watching him lose to his much more classy brother. Even the parents were probably like "whew, our favorite son won, thank goodness." And what is with the old man pants, Jim? Looked like he had a load in them all game. Diaper?

Is anyone talking about the no call on the safety play? The play that took 8 seconds off the clock.. When the punter was doing the endzone shuffle, I saw one Niner get flat out bear-hugged from behind.. The result would end up the same (safety) But I think it shows the refs unwillingness to drop the hankie in the last few plays.

As a former special teams coach I can explain: the holding you saw on that play was "coached" and preached during the timeout before the play. The Ravens knew they were taking a safety, a holding penalty - even if called- would result in a safety. The 49ers werent ready for this and several 49ers were held on the play to kill additional time off the clock.

Go Cardinals!

Just because the defender had his hands on Crabtree doesn't mean he was "holding". The defender didn't impede or redirect Crabtree so it looked like a good no-call to me.

Not only that, Crabtree didn't react or complain which makes it seem like he didn't have a problem with it either.

AND, the ball was uncatchable.

Again, good no-call.

The uncatchable pass wasn't the first one Kaepernick threw in the SB either. On the 2 pt conversion try, he did the same thing and it made me wonder what he was thinking?

I mean, on a 2 pt try why not give your receiver a chance? Even if it's intercepted, at least give your guy a shot at it. There's no downside to keeping it in the field of play even if it's a risky pass. Same thing on 4th down on the last play of the game.

Why take such a low percentage shot? It's like he was trying to avoid a turnover in each of those cases and didn't realize that an incompletion was the exact same thing as an interception under the circumstances.

Guy's only a 10 game starter so it's probably just inexperience but it really made me question his smarts.
