LOL. That is right; Harbaugh and Carol will face each other twice this year. They should wear cheerleader outfits and do a death-match at half-time. Is the cheerleader outift too much?
Totally, I think Harbaugh's handshakes will be under a microscope the rest of the season, and other coaches will be aware of this funny business. The post game handshake at the end will probably be the best part of the Chicken Whiner games this year, blow out or not. :D

The classy thing to do is show respect for the opposing coach---not display your exuberance in front of him---it's like Achilles dragging Hector's body in a victory lap around the perimeter of Troy. The football gods will catch up to Harbaugh---he earned their disdain on this one.

What is the other coach supposed to share in the victorious coach's excitement?

Harbaugh was way out of line.

we can agree on these two statements. I think he is a hell of a coach (aLthough some of his game day decisions seem odd-but have worked out) but he is a good coach.

Normally I can put in what a person meant when they do this, but I have no idea here. "Hell of a douche"? "A good ******"?

I think is is just about the opposite. 98% on Harbaugh and 2% on Schwartz. Harbaugh is a d-bag. I really dislike all the college coaches that come in a try and bring the "rah-rah" mentality. Pete Carrol is similar. They need to have a little professionalism and respect, win or lose. Heck, even Bill Cohwer on the CBS post game said he would have done the same thing as Schwartz had he Harbaugh pulled that stunt. Rich Gannon echoed the same sentiment today on Sirus radio.

That was my thought too. Most people seem to be coming down in favor of Harbaugh, but can't stand Pete Carroll's antics. Well, Harbaugh was acting like Carroll on a line of meth chased with 4 Red Bulls (the big ones). Act like you've been there before.

That said, I wanted Schwartz as Cards coach way back when McGinnis and then Green got the job. And, I would have no problem with Harbaugh either.

Mmm... me, too. I wanted Schwartz or Heimerdinger. I loved the way the Titans played under Fisher. I think part of the reason that franchise declined and had to take drastic steps (i.e., drafting Vincanity) was because their coaching staff had been thoroughly poached.

This was so awesome. I was waiting for someone to start swingin'. Would that NOT have been the No. 1 highlight of the decade?? "Remember when?...." status. Oh well. Still getting a lot of play.

Agreed, and professionalism is the key word here. Harbaugh acted VERY unprofessionally and Shwartz(because he'd just lost a close game) got pissed off and wound up looking stupid himself, i dont blame him though.

I dont consider Harbaugh a bad guy for his actions....i dont think he was thinking TBH. He just needs to learn to pocket that type of emotion when the time comes to do whats expected of all NFL HC's....and a huge part of that is to respect your peers.

p.s. This would have been funnier if this same scenario had played out in week 4 when the Eagles lost to Harbaugh's Niners. Harbaugh goes for the back slap and Reid just stands there like a lead statue....then watching Andy Reid lose his cool...huffing and puffing his way to the tunnel, trying to catch up to ole Jimmy boy....and just giving up when his lungs burst.

:lmao:

After what I watched yesterday, the Cards are gonna have to turn it up a few notches if they want to beat the 9'ers, that team is "ALL-IN" with Harbaugh at the helm. Completely different team than Singletary's team in my view.

Singletary had them playing hard, (he just had them going all different kinds of directions. Harbaugh has them playing hard too, but they are all going the same way now. THAT'S the big difference.

As for us, we are still going all kinds of different directions, and we haven't played hard since-------I can't really remember. I want to say that maybe we really played hard in the game that we won with Moxie starting for the first time-----(was it against the Saints)? At any rate, its been a while.

Schwartz really needs to call Coach Whiz and learn some proper coaching protocol here -- the correct response is to stay very calm, and hold a press conference touting how Coach Harbaugh needs to clean up his post-game handshake execution, everything he is doing is correctable, and there is no need to change his post-game handshake philosophy.

Harbaugh was even more genius in the post game. Saying he shaked the dudes hand too hard. Media thought that little soundbite was for them (or us), but it wasn't. It was for his team. Basically telling his team we barely touch these ****'s, who were undefeated, on the road, and they get all bent. That's what he's telling his team. Look for SF to come out physical against everyone, rest of the year, all year.

And confident, after the pants down, and a new Coach that's down with what they got, brutal on us Cardinal fans.
