I just threw this up on Craigslist, the Wii is a cool system, but it's just not for us. I bought it for my wife and since her fingers have swelled so much due to the pregnancy, she can't play the system much, and I'm more of an Xbox guy. So we're looking to move our Wii.

Here's our craigslist listing:

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/tag/938272081.html

For sale is a one-month old Nintendo Wii. This is a complete package, we have 2 controllers with 2 nunchucks, a classic controller, two steering wheels for Mario Kart Wii, and an HDTV connection kit. We're also including a 2 GB SD card for free as well so you can store your downloaded games and game saves on it.

This package is valued at over $900 if you were to buy every item new at a store, we're pricing it to move for the holidays. This is a great gift for anyone in the family and especially enjoyable to any child.

Here's the games we're including:

Super Mario Galaxy
Super Paper Mario
Super Smash Bros Brawl
deBlob
Mario Kart Wii
No More Heroes
Wii Play
Wii Sports

Good luck man. I felt the same way. I just dumped mine on craigslist tonight. I sold it for $225 with two controllers, wii sports, wii play, mario kart, and a disney princess game. The gimmick wore off fast, and I thought my four year old would like it, but she lost interest quick.

I dunno why you call it a gimmick. The system couldnt be kept on the shelves for well over a year much longer than the two HD capable gaming units and a large majority of the people that play it LOVE IT.

Whatevs. To me its a gimmick. The games overall just don't do it for me. I would never buy Madden for the wii over PS3 or 360 versions. My wife liked Mario Kart for a while as did I, but it wore off and it collected dust. That to me that is a gimmick, but to each his own. I know some people think its gold. I wanted to buy more games and if my 4 year old showed any interest I would have kept it. It just isn't for us.
