Or could he be disdainful of anyone who wore his #90? It sounds like displaced anger.

DD was upset that #90 (Redding) sat out of the NFCCG last season because of what seemed to him to be a minor injury. He was shown on the sideline in uniform but not playing. DD went on a twitter rant that night about how it's a disgrace to the #90 to sit out and not be out there helping the team. That's where the whole thing stems from. Here's one tweet, some may have been deleted as I remember it being more.

I dare y'all put someone in a #90 jersey and they don't play in the biggest game of the year.. That's like seeing a #24 on the sideline.

Does this mean Dockett is not going into the ROH?

He's in my ROH, the man gave his heart and soul to the bird-gang. Hell there might not be a bird-gang if not for him. They way things ended for him is no different then how it ended for #24. A-Dub just took it better because he a little more under-stated than DD.

To be honest redding was near to be a bum
Just few tackle , no pressure ,nothing..
A fumble return(in a match already won) doesnt change his status
I m against retiring numbers but i m agree that some numbers should be honored with better talent

He is the founder of the Birdgang. In fact..... Hes the father of it. Maybe not ROH but he had a major role to play in our turnaround.

Dockett is 7th all time in sacks for the Cards so yeah he was definitely one of the better Cards.

hard to compare sack totals are way up now due to rules changes but when only Nunn, Rice, Greer, Campbell(Calais), Harvey and Swann are ahead of you on the alltime list that's impressive.

I actually didn't realize Calais was that high people always blast him for lack of sacks but he's got 48.5 in 8 seasons.

DD Jr. took DD Sr.'s number

I don't think it's intended to be subtle. There was one Defensive Line Number left. 91 thru 98 are taken, and 99 is retired. Sure, he could have been given 60s or 70s but those are for camp fodder DLs. Pretty much of a no brainer number assignment.

Dockett is just a big dumb jock. I followed him on Twitter and he was making tacos in the nude ( he said) so anything after that in print is not worth reading.
