No offers for Q yet
the closer draft day comes, the more teams will give in to get their guy. So, if they want Boldin, they'll have to meet the Cards demands. Some team will.
So does that mean that every team balked at the price and politely got off the phone.
No because in the same interview Graves said they have not told any teams anything about this 1st and 3rd thing being a must have. The whole 1st and 3rd report just wasn't true according to Graves. They haven't told teams anything like that yet, no negotiations have happened at all.

Another guy who plays it close to the vest is Parcells. I can see him coming in late and offering Ronnie Brown and one of their #2's,the earlier one i hope,#44. I think this trade makes the most sense for both teams. The Cards address their RB needs and snag a second rouder while Miami gets the perfect WR for their team. Ronnie Brown would likely be a stud in this offense. He seems to thrive in the dual back offense. I picture him like Roger Craig back in the SF days. Then at 31,44, and 63 the Cards can take the likes of Larry English, Michael Johnson, and Max Unger. Or, for those of you who hate MJ,let's go with Larry English, Alex Mack, and Clint Sintim.
ESPN's spin is there have been "Quite a few inquiries"
Subtext: get him in a bigger market/flashier team than the Cardinals
Oh yeah,
Anyone who doesn't see all this B.S. is just not getting it. Nothing ESPN/Peter King/FOXSPORTS/NFL.com would love more than getting Boldin into a NY, Boston, Philly, or Dallas.
Peter King is almost angry about it. He acts like the Cardinals should just give Boldin away for free to a team that "deserves" his kind of talent.
Not to mention the hype machine that is trying to pry Boldin our of AZ, and hopefully have him land in a big market team.
It is kind of disgusting, and yet fun to watch. Because Graves knows the game, and just ignores ALL of it.
All Whiz said was that they would be foolish not to listen to offers and all of the sudden the Cards are shopping Q and they want a first and a third. I find it quite fascinating. The media is like a pack of starving wolves on the hunt for a carcass. They'll chew and gnaw at it until every last piece of flesh is gone or until a fresh one is discovered. All of these pecker heads on all of these sports shows have to come up something to fill the dead air space so most of them revert to making it up.

I think you are absolutely right. Cards are keeping this close to their vest. IMO a trade comes down on Saturday with a team on the board. Will be a fun draft day to watch.
I likes the Ronnie Brown........maybe we could get Jake Long too .....eh, you never know, and it doesn't hurt to think big!

Come draft day they will have to make decisions because I'm certain the offers will come.
I have also been of the opinion if a deal is to happen it will happen on draft day. The Cards will want to see who is available when a potential trading partner's number is called. If they have the guy(s) they want then a deal will happen. A deal like this could already be in place.
