I want to see Goran and Robin start. Between the two of them they can set all-time turnover records. I bet with 35+ mins Goran would commit 10 turnovers. We need a VBookie on this if/when he starts this year.

If they get more minutes it will help us get more ping pong balls. We are 3 games behind. The Spurs cant even help su by winning. If we tank in the next 4 games we may as well play the younger players. Its not Gentrys fault. Just an uphill battle without Amare. He needs to learn about items called goggles

Who is Curry? I haven't followed college bball at all this year, but I am sure that Kerr will do whatever he can to draft tyler hansbrough.

I was wondering if we lost all our games what lottery spot we could secure. IF we didn't trade the spot away! :thud:

I'm sure there is already a deal in place for trading our draft pick. We just have to make sure we pick someone with really good NBA potential who will be a solid player in the near future. THEN we can make the deal.

:)

I think a lot of people underestimated the severity of this injury. My Mom has had similar eye problems and had some of the same proceedures as Amare. It's not an easy surgery to recover from, and you have to be so careful about putting any pressure on that eye.

The most important thing right now is for Amare to get well. If he does, he'll still be a great player for us.

Off topic: I never can understand people that want their team to tank it. Talk about an incredibly unsportsmanlike and weak road to take. These guys are pros, and at the money people pay to go to the games they should be trying to win every single one of them.

I heard Ron Wolfley say it best. You never know if some kid might be at his first Suns game, maybe his only Suns game, and that kid deserves to see his favorite team trying their hardest to win.

This stupid "championship or you're pathetic" mentality is horrible for sports. It sends a pathetic message.

On topic: I'm not surprised that Amare isn't coming back. I know this injury is serious, but at the same time I know that Amare will be more cautious than necessary with his return. It's just the kind of player he is.

You know what's sad? This team is FULL of talent and veterans with high basketball IQs and still under achieve.

Truly sad.

I wonder if Sarver could lawyer up and void Amares' contract for not wearing those goggles? Sure, it'd be a dirty thing to attempt, but, Sarver has lost like a quarter of a billion dollars since the crash last Fall. He's probably ready to do the dutch by now.

that would be nasty, and no one would be happy at the end, nor Sarver, nor Amare, nor Alvin, nor the players and the fans!!!

I am thinking they may not HAVE to tank. After watching them struggle with teams we used to beat fairly easily, I think we have dropped behind most of the teams in the west. we are 3-24 when trailing after 3 quarters in a game this year. I don't remember a stat like that for us in a LONG time!
