In all my years of watching the NFL playoffs, and their have been many, no playoff team has been belittled as much as this one. I certainly hope that Whiz uses some of this negative rhetoric from so-caled experts in the locker room today. Tom Jackson is an a$$hole & always has been. He was a jerk as a player & he's probably the biggest reason that I despise the Broncos. He has been a Cardinal hater for as long as I can remember. If the Cardinals win today, will anyone hold him accountable for his BS? Absolutely NOT. Ditka & Jackson will eat their words. They are old school dinosaurs that will only root for teams that run the ball 75% of the time.

We got skewered on NFC Playbook on the NFL Network too. Somehow, the more bad stuff I heard, the angrier I got and the more confident I felt. Jeez, the Falcons aren't all THAT for gawd's sakes!

I don't get why Jackson always sees fit to take shots at the Cards. What did they ever do to him?

If he thinks the Cards are going to lose, fine, but he always finds it necessary to belittle the team in his analysis. I guess he thinks he's funny or something. Jerk.

There is no risk in belittling the Cardinals. It's pathetic really, like a bully. IT'S OUR TURN NOW! Go Cards!

Re: Tom Jackson...

"The MOST TALENTED team in the league is going to lose to the.....Cardinals"?? This was followed by about (10) seconds of derisive laughter by Mr. Jackson. What was the FINAL score Tom?? CARDS-30/ COWBOYS-24. ...AND haven't the Giants LOST (3) out of their last (4)?? That is glossed-over while it seems that the Cards pulled the greatest choke down the stretch of ALL-Time. Hell-looo?? BRONCOS!! The media DIDN'T like us before the season started. They DON'T like us now. FINE! I DON'T LIKE THEM EITHER! GO CARDS! :D

I don't like those guys either, but you shut them up by winning. the cards didn't exactly waltz into the playoffs impressing their own fans that were booing them against a terrible seattle team. I don't mean this as a critique, but just trying to point out why those guys are doing what they do. again I don't like anyone on the ESPN countdown crew....they are all negative guys......I don't like emmitt's work either. but oh well...a win will shut them up and prove others wrong.

 Who cares?

The game is played on the field!

GO CARDINALS!!!

couldn't agree more. I don't understand why fans get so upset what the perception nationally is by the media. Respect is earned!!! I know the past is the past, but until we win on a consistant basis...

Even if we do prove them wrong and somehow win it all, we will still be belittled as the worst Super Bowl winner in history.

Collinsworth

If things aren't bad enough for us, now Collinsworth ( the biggest Cardinals hater) will be narrating the game. Its like an omen. I don't know, I hope and wish for a victory today to shut them all up, but I just have this feeling that we will continue to embarrass ourselves today. After 50 years of watching them, it just comes natural.

The cards need to come out and bust some ass from the first play. Set the falcons back on their heels and have them saying, "my God are these the Cardinals hitting us like this?" OCF

ESPN is so bad anymore. It's like trying to watch MTV. If you want good coverage, watch the NFL network. They may bash the Cards,or any other team, but their analysis usually backs it up. I mean look at the ass clowns that have run through ESPN, Irvin, Smith, Hoge,Salisbury,Trev Albers, Mark May, Lou Holtz, the list goes on and on.

If it wern't for irvin's off the field issues he would be great for the media. the guy has a great personality and he knows a little something about being a team leader and what it takes to win football games. emmitt smith just doesn't fit....and troy has found his spot he does fit well. as far as espn....they are all clowns as far as i'm concerned. their coverage is horrible..it's as bad as any cable news out there to include msnbc and fox. I don't like anyone on the espn countdown show. but I don't know that NFLN/nbc is lightyears ahead of them. they are better I guess. I like fox sports the best. I like the humor that they bring(as the sideshow is more about them and less about ridicule).... and I like listening to their A broadcast team.

Let's review: The Cardinals stomped his beloved Bills and beat his beloved Niners twice. :D
yeah I remember one segment I was watching him talk about tony romo not being able to win big games......last year........and he gave a quote(that I forget) that his "good friend" marv levy gave him about winning big games. and I'm just wondering why he used the bills as a reference to what it takes to win big games? oh well.

How many of the ESPN know-it-alls picked the Giants to win the Super Bowl last season?

This is great. Let them keep yapping about how bad we are.

If you watch the "underdog" video by Paul Calvisi on NFL.com this team has a TON of bulletin board material to use.

The team is going to come out fired up today because they are being disrespected and that's when they play their best ball.

Lets go Cardinals!
