No TV for Sunday's game in Tucson

Now that the WB no longer exists, the new CW station is not going to televise the Diamondbacks last game in Tucson. I think those who live in Tucson need to contact the station and let them know that it's BS not to show Gonzo's last game. I would go to the game but I already have promised a friend last week I would help him with painting the inside of his house.

I went to the CW website and it says they are showing the game so I guess the AZ Daily Star is wrong. Good news.

it just makes me sick that the game won't be broadcast. Oh no, no one in Tucson give a da** about seeing Gonzo's last game...
Who do we call? I will call them continously tomorrow if need be. If someone has a number,please pass it on. I personally think it is his time to go, but absolutely he deserves the last game to be shown in the town where he owned/owns a home and spent 8 spring training seasons. What a slap in the face.

I thought the game was in fact going to be televised (see post #2 of the thread)?

BTW- this has nothing to do with this thread, but since the AZ Bullpen website came back, I cannot log in. It keeps saying that the username/password doesn't match up with anything they have. If anyone from that board (Zen, Zona, Shoe, Dbackmomma, BC867, etc) can let me know who to contact to get re-established, I would really appreciate it!

I live in Tucson now, and I see nothing on channel 8(the CW channel down here) for 1:40. I have comcast though, does that matter?

According to AZstarnet.com the game is on at 1:30 on CW 58.

Well I've been watching it, It's a shame I had to give my tickets up too my friends( I got sick 3 days ago)

It's really a shame to see Gonzo and Counsell go, and not be at Chase Field. At least Counsell got a homerun.
