3 of these tools think we will lose game 7 @ home? If we lose to the Spurs it will be in 6. I think we win in 5 or 7. The way the league is I can see the Suns getting some favorable calls in a game 7 as they are a much better TV draw the SA.

The funny thing is that they all picked Dallas over GS, counting overall record above head-to-head record (which GS dominated). Yet, last year a few of them picked the Lakers over Phoenix for no good reason.

I noticed that. I think that's just their way of saying it will be very close with a slight edge to the Spurs, rather than necessarily going to game 7.

uh, they did take us to 7 and had us down 3-1. They were closer than most people on this board that had Suns in 5 or 6 at the most.

I can't even pick the Suns in this one. Sorry guys, but until the Suns show their mettle against the Spurs, they DO have the Suns' number....

They are going to have to play much better than they did against the Lakers in order to beat the Spurs.

They are capable of it, but they haven't shown it yet.

when do we find out what db means?

There was a thread about it a while ago that seemed to spur (pun intended) a lot of anger between members here. Not sure why, it's all in good fun.

If I wasn't so lazy I would look it up for you.

I predicted they'd go for the Spurs (apparently they don't ask their bookies ;) ). Their logic is simple. The Suns aren't the kind of team that wins championships and this series could very well decide who will be the champion.

Certainly the Spurs were impressive in their series with the Nuggets and the Suns had some lapses during the Laker series; but mostly this is about image. The Spurs are a defense oriented, slow down team with some strong half court offensive theats. By contrast, the Suns are much better in a running game.

It has been almost two decades since a running team won the championship. However, it has been just as long since there was a running team with this much talent.

Before the Nets - Raptors game only Anthony picked the Spurs on TV the other 2 picked the Suns.

Yep...for some reason Greg Anthony does not like the Suns. "Legs" likes our style and picked us to win it all even before Dallas was eliminated. Wilbon has fresh takes, and I respect his opinion. He said that the Spurs might be a little too old to win this series

It says Spurs in 7 it should mean Spurs in 7, I don't know how you can get any clearer than that.

I definitely think if it goes Suns in 7. I could see Suns or Spurs in five before I could see Spurs in 7.

If I were a betting man I would feel the best chance would be Spurs in 6 or Suns in 7. Come to think of it, if I put $500 down on those two scenerios, if one of the happened would I make money? Hmmm

Last year I bet Suns in four, five, or six...and it went 7. That was the end of my betting days :(

Steve Kerr has become more supportive of the Suns style and the longer he's away from the Spurs, the less he feels a part of their family. His comments on the whinning is a good indicator.

I think a lot of people are rooting for Phx because they are underdogs. Phx is also the poster team of fasstbreak basketball that the NBA wants the game to be played. Its true Spurs win by playing grindout boring basketball and at times if it works do not fix it.

I think the Nba really wants PHX to be in the finals because I dont think they can stand another San Antonio vs detriot ratings killer again. NBA is a brand afterall.

I don't understand why Steve Kerr would be supportive of any other team than the Suns. He is a minority owner of the team and is employed by Suns management as a consultant. The Suns are his family.

I doubt Sarver would like one of his partners in the team expressing a lack of confidence in the team's chances of winning the series.
