It's splitsville for socialite Paris Hilton and her Greek shipping heir boyfriend Stavros Niarchos, Hilton's publist Lori Glass, reported to PEOPLE.

"I confirm that she's split with him. They are no longer a couple. I don't know the exact day they split."

Now, on the same day of the break-up reports, come rumors that Hilton is romancing the Arizona Cardinals top draft pick, former USC quarterback, Matt Leinart, 22.

Of the rumors of the Leinart fling another Hilton rep, Elliot Mintz, told PEOPLE, "She knows Matt, she likes Matt. They are friends."

"I don't want to go any further than that. They have known each other a while."

Hmm, sounds like a fancy way of saying that Hilton just might be in the Cardinals Stadium stands cheering on No. 7 come opening day for the Cards.

When I went to cali for spring break I saw them and they were both coming out of the same club...but they came out seperately. (saw a lot of other people too and was at a club pretty much right next to that one...which had other famous people)...but they're definitely hanging out at some of the same places

Get ready guys because this will be the norm. We just drafted Joe Freaking Namath. New York's obvious fit and loss is our gain. I imagine Leinert will date two more celebrities in training camp before settling down with Jessic Simpson.

If he works and puts substance behind this flair, he could have huge crossover appeal. Giving our Cardinals much needed respect and credibility. I think it would be in the best interest of the NFL to promote our team as well with the winning celeb Leinert and his Arizona Cardinals playing on Monday night and Thanksgving for center piece games.

Now all we gotta do is win.
