I pull for Northern Iowa because a good friend of mine used to teach in Waterloo, IA and send me sports articles all the time.

Glad to see David beat Goliath.

Kurt Warner is smiling right now.

I don't have a bracket this year, but I bet a lot of people are pulling their hair out now.

When the heck did Washington figure out how to play basketball?? Amazing to see the Pac-10 still playing, when the Big East has taking a pounding and teams like Kansas are OUT!!!!!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe if Sherron Collins had a few more tattoos that might have helped. :D

Gotta be one of the top 5 biggest tourney upsets ever. All of my in laws are sobbing in their suds right now. LOL!

That and Nova losing shredded my bracket but you just gotta cheer for the underdog in a game like that. The last 5 minutes of the game was the classic case where one team goes all out press and the refs let them play and the trailing team comes back. At least twice trying to inbound the ball a UNI player went flying to the floor but no call. You figure UNI will get tight and blow the lead but that kid drills the 3 that he should probably not have taken and sews it up.

The longer a game like that goes the more the top seed feels the pressure because they know they're supposed to win. I was impressed that Kansas stayed in it UNI hit some really tough shots, had a couple of huge offensive rebound buckets, those kind of plays can be backbreakers.

Another crazy tournament that's why it's so fun to watch every year.

Interesting tidbit:

They showed that stat about the last time they lost in the 2nd round but neglected to mention self had 2 first round losses in the same period. really if not for the title 2 years ago Self would probably have been fired by now, if not by now after today for sure. That title is his saving grace right now.

I love this!!!!!!

Now I don't have to listen to KU fans for another year.

BTW, Northern Iowa played one heck of a game, I love good defense.

KU will lose Collins, Henry & Aldrich to the draft. They get Orlando Woolridge's kid and ex UA recruit Withey and may get 1 of Selby, Lamb or Knight but they won't have as talented a roster as this year. Never liked KU so UNI has made me really happy.

Cornell vs. Northern Iowa in the Final. That would be a shocker.

I think Henry may stay, he started off great this year but he didn't really have a can't miss lottery pick year and his brother is still at Kansas so he might stay.

Withey played this year just not much. They should be good again they have Elijah Johnson who most of the Pac 10 would have taken in a heartbeat if he'd had the grades. Amazing how the Academic tournament champs were able to take his grades but that's another story.

All it proves is how difficult it really is to win a title, that Donovan did it 2 years in a row not all that long ago and has one tourney appearance since proves that.

I mean 2 years ago one of the key reasons Kansas won was Rush tearing his ACL and deciding not to go to the NBA. He came back and helped Kansas win a title. Next year Ty Lawson is going pro until he gets arrested, comes back and leads UNC to a title. There's more to it than just talent.

Kentucky is the most talented team left in the tourney but I think West Virginia and Syracuse both could beat them because of the way they play.

Somehow I picked this game as the only game I have been able to watch.

FANTASTIC!
