Jamarr Chase was the best receiver in college football last year...and he isnt draft eligible until 2021.

He is 1000% right.

There are like 15 receivers with 1st round grades right now from what I've read from most scouts.

It'll be interesting to see. You've already lost half a year of development on these guys who couldn't participate in spring practices. Are they gonna be able to have late-summer training camps? Who's overseeing their offseason training programs?

For a lot of these incoming juniors people are predicting a level of growth that may not be available, or we won't get to see.

I certainly don't see it being worse. And where we will be picking (top 20) we should be able to get a top 3 WR. I still think Fitz plays on though and that one of our younger WR's steps up.

Also Fitz is now a WR2/WR3. We don't need a high pick WR to replace him. Hopkins already replaced him.

Yeah. Not sure where people are getting the illusion we can't succeed at WR unless it's a 1st round pick. We already have a superstar. In the past decade, only three teams have carried 1st round pick at WR that they drafted to a Super Bowl win, and the list isn't impressive. Eagles with Nelson Agholor, who isn't striking fear into anyone, the Broncos with Brandon Marshall, and the Giants with Hakeem Nicks, who also isn't really striking that much fear into anyone.

Don't know how the WR's who were drafted this year will do, but in recent drafts some of the most successful WR's were NOT drafted in the 1st round. So I don't think we should be too concerned about having to get one who is ranked in the top three. And I have no idea about FA/trades, etc.

I would be focused more on CB & OLB in next year's draft. Another Patrick could be in the cards (no pun intended) if Patrick Surtain Jr. is available when we are on the clock.
