What i question concerning Rudolph and Lauletta is can they make all the NFL throws? I also think Baker Mayfield will have the same problem .having enough arm to make all the throws.FWIW reading NFL.com scouting reports ;Mayfield and Rudolph both have some arm strength issues and Lauletta is conidered a fine short and intermediate passer but lacks arm to make all the NFL throws.Yet all these guys have flashed the ability to do what it takes to win in college. The key is how well will their skills project to the bigger faster NFL.Every one of the QBs in the draft have issues that need NFL Coaching to try and correct to maximaze each guys potential.
Sam Darnold-turnovers and a release that needs work, technique
Josh Rosen-setup needs work and reads need work, maturity?
Baker Mayfield-low release,technique and deep throws,lacks height
Josh Allen-decision making,reads,technique,accuracy
Lamar Jackson-technique,reads,accuracy,bulk
Mason Rudolph-technique,turnovers,deep throws
Al have positives
Darnold-arm,size,poise
Rosen-arm,technique
Mayfield-toughness,setup,touch, a leader
Jackson-Big arm,great athletic ability,smart,release,speed
Rudolph-Size,height,reads
the question is what can these guys bring to the table and how quickly can they contribute and what can each contribute in the long run.Which guy can be the QB to lead the team for the next several seasons?I think Bradford is starting at QB and Glennon is 2nd QB.Any rookie QB is going to be 3rd QB unless Bradford gets hurt.So except for injury or injuries any QB Cards draft will likely have year to watch and learn.
