Nothing says "I'm content" like a quiet ASFN Cardinals board

Judging from the quietness of this board. I guess I am not alone with being content with our current team and roster.

There is really nothing to do until it is time to bash the front office for not signing draft picks.

we are in the middle of the 75 days of NFL nothing-ness

post free agency, post draft, post spring mini camp.

The only activity of note is when draft picks get signed, and that really doesnt start until a week before camp opens.

Nothing really to talk about.

I hope DRC is eating his carbs....
I was watching some of the Viking/Chargers game on NFL Network Replay. Cromartie ran a field goal kick back for 109 yards, If DRC is anything like him, we got us a good one.

Content, maybe. Wowed by the off-season additions? Not really (maybe a little bit for DRC's athleticism).

Maybe a smattering of news during the OTA's later this month. Then a vast vacuum until mid-July. You hope you don't hear any Cardinal news between June 1 and July 15 because it is usually someone getting in trouble.

I think we still need to add another veteran CB...adding Ty Law or Andre Dyson would really be a real coup and give the team another mentor for DRC and the youngsters. It would also, IMO, make us competitve with any team in this league.

Adding a veteran tackle for depth and a punter and kicker to challenge Johnson and Rackers respectively would seem wise as well.

I guess I am about 93% content for right now.

I try. Really I do. But I hate watching college football, so I don't know any of the players. And frankly, with as many players as we see every single year coming from obscurity to stardom in the NFL, I just don't put much stock in the draft as an indicator of success.

I've been a fan since this team moved to town, and I'll stay a fan regardless of success (I may be convinced to stop spending $1,000 a year per seat to watch it though). But with nothing much happening until late July, I'll read many of the posts, then I'll yawn and go to bed. Okay, actually I'll go back to doing my job for the rest of the day, but you get the point.

Their is something very funny about that (93%). Since there ain't nuttin' to talk about today...how about sharing with us how you can get to 94% or 92%? By the way in the "real world" of work, I do the same thing...like we have a 72.4% market share type of stuff.

I am surprisingly fairly content. I am still pissed about a few things, but there is nothing we can do about it now exept wait for the season to start.

I guess I feel like I just ate a big meal and dont feel like moving. The food wasn't the greatest, but I'm full so there cant be too much to complain about yet. I'll have to wait and see how I feel tomorrow to really judge it all.

The guy that has yet to get a job, that I am still surprised about is Renaldo Hill from the Titans.

I don't know how people can be content about this offseason. I am very disappointed in this offseason. The Cardinals have done nothing so far to make me feel content. Haggans & LaBoy are the biggest free agent pick up. People on this board getting excitted about Hightower, a fifth round pick rb that nobody has heard of. This make people feel content about this offseason. I guess people are easily pleased.

None of this should surprise you, as the vast majority of this board was THANKFUL for the way Fitz raped RG this offseason and ruined our chances in FA.

What did you want Fitz to do exactly? I'm all ears.

while much was made of Fitz -- the Cards werent signing big names anyway.

Pace wasnt coming back. His agent knew well prior to free agency that Miami and the Jets were going to put up big dollars for him.

Faneca was a fan pipe dream, as was Asante Samuel.

I suspect that Rod and Wis pretty much got the guys they wanted
