It will be interesting to see how they go about this movie. I will probably see it regardless of ratings....hopefully you are right abomb and Fox Searchlight does it right.

Very, very interested. Couldn't quite get a grasp for the actor playing Big.

I'm a huge biggie fan, and not excited to see this at all. I just don't feel the actor playing BIG at all, hopefully I'm wrong.

Saw it on opening night, was a pretty good movie nothing special. The casting was pretty questionable though on a couple of the characters. The actor playing Puffy was pretty awful, every time he was on screen I didn't even think of Puffy until they said his name. And the actor playing Tupac was so bad it was funny in some scenes. However, it was a really uplifting movie that was pretty funny as well, about my favorite rapper so I enjoyed it 6.5/10

Stupid. No interest in this whatsoever. Why would BIG rate a movie, yet Motley Crue can't get a movie deal?!?!? The Crue was a crazy pack of bastards who led INSANE lives. There is no other movie that needs to be made of music celebrities more than the Crue, period!

Maybe if someone gunned down the Crue, while they were parked in their car, then someone might think about making a movie about them.

Don't how interested you are Gee, but I rented this last night and I was happy not to have purchased this one.

It's falls a little flat as a storytelling for his life and while entertaining is really a mediocre flick.

And as Brandon says up there the casting wasn't that hot. The guys who played Tupac and Puffy really didn't serve those characters well.

6.5/10 was a pretty fair rating and I'd agree with that.

The first 30-40 minutes of this were great, when talking about Biggie and his humor.. He seemed to be a funny dude.. Puffy had the control so he musta had alot input.. Made it wack, like he was a big dog.. After that when Pac entered the scene it just seemed like damage control and Westcoast hate.. I thought we were over that? I am at least.. Alot of facts were obmitted..

Its a pro eastcoast movie.. I didnt enjoy it too much after the first 30 minutes.. Seemed like a infomercial.. Made me wanna say F Biggie and the Eastcoast... They definitly had something to hide..

The only saving grace of this movie is that Tupac mom is now in negotions with studios to make a movie about her son's life.. And she dont pull punches.. Afeni Shukar is the bizness.. She's not a Jamican immigrant like Biggies moms was.. She was a Black Panther that went to prison for it.. The truth will be told..
