The Nuggets and Clippers have a ton of depth.

One of these seasons, James Jones is going to have to give me an extra power forward or point guard.

Chris Paul hit a career high of seven, 3-point shots.

Very empty stat. With Durant playing, the Suns haven’t faced a quality team/full compliment of a line-up.
As we know, the second season is upon us now… and that’s where the W’s matter.
Weren’t you just hysterically posting about this team possibly slipping to the play in and not even making the playoffs?

These W’s matter. They got us HCA. That said, they still have a very very long way to go before playing a championship level… despite the gaudy looking record.

This is the NBA. NBA teams can win on almost any given night. Look at the average win streaks by even great teams. I know what you are trying to say and yes I would love to have seen some more prime time matchups. Having said that? 8 game win game streaks are hard to get in the NBA. Only 8 other teams have a 8 game win streak or higher this season.

Ugly win, but we’ll take it, obviously. Must be nice to be as deep as Denver is.

Hopefully CP3 can keep his newfound shooting touch in the playoffs.

The eight game winning streak is legit, but I keep asking myself, where is the beef.

When playoff teams starting knocking each other around, can the Suns bench hang in there.

tonight's performance was not indicative of who has the deeper bench - it's just one game

couldn't agree more about CP3's shooting lol they were talking to him about his career high for 3s and he just seemed genuinely depressed about not setting up other people for 3s - the man just loves his assists

Our bench has depth in the sense that we can go to our 10th, 11th, 12th guys more comfortably than a lot of teams, but we don't have anyone on the bench we can rely on in any meaningful capacity.

We have a bench full of 8th and 9th quality players.

Hoping they show out tomorrow night in LA

Yeah, we are very weak from 5 through 7 but we have a lot of players that could fight for that 3rd, 4th and 5th spot off the bench.

One guy brought up on a radio show, what if the Suns DON'T lose a game with Durant through the playoffs? It's not probable, but it is possible since there aren't that many games left. He was pointing out that would go down as one of the all time best trades ever, if that played out in that way.

I'm trying to figure out Payne's role right now.

His role is to look for which other team will pick him up for next year...

Nah,,, Suns will keep him because he is playing for less money.

His positives > run fast and foul the man he is guarding.

Why did we go after Ross over Reggie Jackson again?

Since Thanksgiving KD has lost 4 games.

His frequent injuries and his poor play when he first returns to action have made him unreliable for us so I'm confident we'll try again to find a better replacement. But when he's healthy and fully back to speed, he's one of the better backup PGs. As for his foul rate, he's middle of the pack for our team.

It's starting to look like maybe window Payne as in he'll be watching the game from behind his window on the bench.
Shamet has been pretty awful. If that is his replacement, benching Payne is a dumb move.

Why not? He's being left wide open. I have seen him in practice enough to know he makes 80% wide open 3's.

For me. I don’t care what Paul does in the regular season I need to see it in the playoffs we’re it gets way more physical.

The last two years he’s melted down hell his entire career he’s always come up short in the playoffs.

Maybe this kind of new role as a spot up shooter will save his legs. Hopefully
