Just listened to Espo and since we end the season with Lakers and Clips, he basically thinks we should try to win/lose depending on which of those two we want to play against.

That is a pretty good point. I personally would much rather face the Lakers, and feel like we would kill them, whereas the Clippers give the Suns problems.

well I'm not sorry you're not in charge.
Monty said the staff is discussing the situation - which means he is at least seriously considering resting them.

So don't be surprised if you don't get your way.

They did not take the gas off last year, they just started sucking. I still to this day don't know why, but it wasn't because they took their foot off the gas.
Yes we did. First off, we went 11-4 our last 15 but I was referring to our last 3 games. When last year's team had 3 games left, we sat Booker, Ayton, Crowder and Paul I think for at least 2 of those. Then when the playoffs started the team didn't seem to be firing on all cylinders again. Now we have 3 games left again. That seems like a mistake. Especially, when Monty doesn't seem to have the rotation settled. We did have our rotation settled last year.

In the Finals run the Suns only rested Paul and Booker in the season finale at the Spurs.

Resting key starters one game sounds about right if it serves the Suns interest.

I'm feeling the other way around. A healthy LeBron and AD scares me a little bit. With George out, I'd rather take my chances with the Clippers I think.

The Nuggets list Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and Zeke Nnaji as QUESTIONABLE.

It sounds like Anthony Davis still has medical issues with his right foot.

#Shocker lol. LeBron isn’t 100 percent either. Most guys aren’t at this time of year. It’s a war of attrition.

People talk about the Suns “fluke” run with injuries yet Milwaukee wasn’t going to beat the Nets without a healthy Kyrie and Harden. Oh well.

I mean I agree if George is out Clippers are easier - but he is most likely going to be back.

I'm listening to James Jones on Arizona Sports.

He says he doesn't have the answers to how the Suns will play the final three games. The conversations are ongoing.

The Suns are trying to find rotations that work. He is confident the Suns roster (depth) is filled with good players.

Injuries are part of the season. Teams can only play the cards dealt them.

Without a doubt in the world. With the Lakers we possibly have to play a better/healthier team who will get the benefit of every questionable call possible. Give me a team where Westbrook is your second best player every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I also won’t be surprised if we lose Game 1 if you get yours.

If Monty shuts everyone down after Thursday nights game, that’ll just prove one thing even stronger… he’s too stubborn/unable to adjust to his past failures to be a legit title winning coach.

Right… like Kawhi was a game time decision in every game against us in the WCF two years ago.

All the chatter in LA is that George doesn’t come back until earliest 2nd round. If that.

So. Do you rest Book, KD, and others or play them? I think we play them. They need more time together. I know its a risk.

They've plated seven games together. I don't see how the Suns can rest them. If they has 60 games together, I'd be open to resting them for a random game or two, but familiarity is more important than rest right now. They'll have a week of rest anyway since they won't end up in the play-in, so they should be well-rested for playoffs.

Yeah… even if they had gotten KD for the entire time since the trade, I could see them starting to rest these guys, but thinking we’re ready to rock after 7 games is just not being realistic. Will 3 more games make a HUGE difference? No. But I think it’ll make the team a little more coherent before the high stakes of the playoffs start.

Wouldn’t be surprised. Disagree with a lot of Monty’s coaching choices.

It’s that confidence that leads me to conclude that jones isn’t going to make he necessary offseason additions we will need.

Although, I might flip flop after tonight’s game.

I flip flopped for half a game but then Lebron came out of his funk and that team started looking a little scary. I know LAL lost but unless injury brings down AD or Lebron, I think we're still better off with the Clippers than the Lakers. Not that any of our possible first round opponents would be a cakewalk.

Here is some updated injury information for the Nuggets.

I'm going to wait for later information before game time to get a better idea who will play.
