Nobody is answering the ? There have been so many players with huge contracts over the years and have been reported as untradeable.... So how is OBJ even remotely tradeable salary cap wise for the Giants? After signing the most lucrative contract for a wide receiver in NFL history? How is it possible with his bonuses that would have to be accelerated???

They eat it.

If they really want to get to the top pick ... they want to trade him for a first round pick straight up.

GB has a high enough pick to be interesting.

OBJ isn't the team cancer that Brown is, but still he is not easy and he is injury prone, he only played a full season once in five years.

That isn't what you need in a #1 WR, that is what makes him expandable in the first place. Because you don't help from the sideline. And he has had a average to good QB for 5 years now.

Josh maybe next year plays at Eli Manning level, hopefully better, but still we aren't playoff contender with OBJ. And since OBJ gets injured (hamstring - ankle sprain - ankle fracture - Leg quadriceps bruised and than the quad gave out - Hand Thumb Sprain - Inguinal Hip Strain -Back Vertebral Bruise - Inguinal Hip Strain)

Look, for a team like GB it makes sense, but for a team like the cards, getting a WR if they need DE/OLB/OT/OG/ILB/WR/TE it makes almost no sense. They aren't that much better with OBJ and they aren't back to contender with him. The Cards have a long road to the top.

For Green Bay on the other hand or Atlanta, Detroit, New England, Indianapolis, Dallas, Oakland or even Tampa it could make very much sense to get OBJ, they all have a established QB and need WR help or think they need WR help to get over the hump.

And lets say pick #5 (1700)+#6 (1600) could be enough for our #1 (3000) and that would make very much sense for the Giants and the Cards.

So if the 49ers trade the 2nd pick of the draft to the Giants that would gaurantee they could draft Haskins. That would put us in the catbird seat if there was another team out there( redskins , dolphins? ) that wanted him too. The possibilities are endless.

If Belichick replaces KK, then yes, I'd take a flier on a headcase like OBJ... Otherwise....No freaking way!!!

I'd take Julio Jones, sadly he is not on the trade block. *sigh*:(

The #Giants are talking trade about
? their WR Odell Beckham @obj , per @jeffphowe

Would have to be a huge offer though.

The Giants just signed him to the largest wide receiver contract in NFL history last season… What kind of cap hit are they going to have to absorb in order to get rid of him?

That right there should be the biggest sign to stay the hell away. That they are even willing to do that..

There's gotta be more to the story with OBJ. Teams don't just sign a guy to a huge deal then look to trade him and take the enormous cap hit year after year.
I'd have the medical team do one hell of test on him to make sure everything is as it should be
Any team should also be doing a background check of recent activities.
Last I saw was OBJ on TMZ with some chic and a variety of drugs in the room....can't say it was his, but you don't start trading assets for fools gold.
Gotta like OBJ, but it's gotta be buyer beware in this case.
Lastly, should the Cards even be in the WR market big with their issues at O line. Any QB they'd have, as of right now, has less than 2 seconds to even throw the ball. The focus should be O line, O line, O line and O line...hopefully Gilbert pans out at RT...then you got one official NFL starter.

Super nice guy and very humble in person. The diva thing is way overblown. But he is way too injury prone. But if the Cardinals did get him, his custom golf cart is still the right color!

On any possible trade for #Giants WR Odell Beckham, my sense in talking to a few sources who would know is it's more of the same, that they'd listen to anything and never say never but nothing remotely close to happening right now.

The diva thing is far from overblown

ODB might be a diva but he’s a great & entertaining diva. I’d take him on the team anyday.

If they gave us their #2 I would swap our 1sts (#1 for #6) for him. (Maybe)

Pending full physical of course.
