Loney is the only one I want to stay. And I'd be fine if he were gone too, but I think he's a good coach. But there is nothing wrong with housecleaning.

I agree Loney is the one I want to stay. But I can stomach Pendy although I would rather Whiz Bring in a D guy from the Steelers...

You guys are all nuts. Pendy will prove himself the real deal this upcoming season.

I hope so. I hope it was Green that installed 15 yard cushions and decided not to blitz a one-footed, limping QB. I'll be very happy if you are right.

I have my doubts about Pendergast, but I don't understand the people who want to run him out of town on a rail. In 2005 our defense was ranked 8th. I think he has the potential to turn the defense around.

We were ranked 27th in the only D ranking that matters - points.

2 coaches let go but it means 3 new coaches needed.

I've never understood why defensive rankings in yards allowed are thrown around like they mean something, especially when points scored determine winners. And its not just us average joes who talk about it....broadcasters & television talking heads think they mean something too

Except that 4 TDs given up in 2005 were on special teams. Just looking at points also doesn't take into account the times when turnovers gave the opposing team a short field etc.

I, and every fantasy football player out there, could not agree more.

Stupid Yahoo.

I was a little surprised by the release of Brooks in light of the progress made by Antonio Smith and improved play by Chike Okeafor when B-Train went down and also tougher play on the inside. Then again, this wasn't Darnell Dockett's most impressive season.

That reduces the yards allowed as well. There were many short drives for TD's by Cardinal opponents that year. Wasn't it also the year where the Cards gave up scores on the opening drive of each half almost every game or was that the year before?

Please axe Pendy. I'll offer to box up his belongings, pay to ship them, and drive him and his family to the airport. Anything to get the DB's 15 yds closer to their respective receivers

Who knows? Maybe Brooks decided to leave and explore other opportunities.

Amazing. I thought the Cards were going to make the Wiz keep all the AC's. Maybe some people got that part of it wrong.
