I've read this post with great interest as I'm trying to understand the game better.
Bring Danish, I never played it myself, and I always just wachted the QB and all the playmakers.
So I hope you dont mind me asking what might seem stupid question to you:)
I hear the expression 12 personel all the time. Can anyone explain it to me?
Welcome to the board. I'll have a spicy philly cheesesteak & a cold Budlight. ;)

Whoa, back the bus up Billy. Respect to those who speak multiple languages but reading a lot of the posts most of us haven't even mastered English yet. LOL (Laugh out loud)
What do you call someone who speaks 2 languages? Bilingual
What do you call someone who speaks 3 languages? Multilingual
What do you call someone who speaks one language? American

Yep. Blame the education system. Unless in private or very select schools, it is not a priority or even offered until junior high. It's better (easier, more natural) to learn a language during early developmental years.

Danish schools now start English in 1st grade, 3rd language in 4th (Usually GErman or French), 4th language in 7th (German, French, Spanish).

That is excellent. Our school system is such a joke.

As an aside, is that a Rome quote in your signature? Great scene.
It is. My favorite TV series.

On the general school system. As a high school exchange student at a good school in the US and I would agree. The level of education was so so low compared to what I was used to. I had the highest score in senior American Government class with minimal effort.

I think it's necessity.

When you don't have to learn another language, you don't. When you speak the lingua franca of the world, you have no need to speak anything else.

The British also aren't generally bilingual or multilingual.
