He signed a 1 yer deal worth a total of 2.5M with Jax

It seemed like such a no brainer given his experience with Palmer, it was a need at C and Keim loves 1 year deals. There had to be something we didn't know about.

Definitely strange that we didn't try to upgrade by signing him. Is he injured?

the two biggest head scratchers of the off-season for me was how we addressed the C position, going with cast-offs and completely ignoring a relatively balmy RB FA market to depend on Ellington, who's got injury concerns and putting all our eggs into the AP basket. We had the cash and there were A LOT of good to even great RBs on the market that we didn't even sniff. Hope those decisions don't come back to bite us in the ass.

Yeah but Duke is looking dependable this year he hasn't even pulled a hammy yet... Oops never mind.

After watching practice yesterday I'd say that the OL isn't quite there yet. Need to see them play an entire game together to really judge them though.
