Okay, two questions:

1-What happens if a guy is drafted that you didn't put in your 1st round mock at all? I didn't have Heyward-Bey in the 1st at all. Do I just get penalized the 25 slots remaining in the 1st round? I imagine that's what happens.

2-If you have a guy in the 1st round and he doesn't go in the 1st, do you get penalized from that spot until he is drafted? Say Oher slides to the 3rd pick in the 2nd round...do you get points for every pick between where you slotted him and that 2nd round pick?

Any answers to my 2 questions? I did extremely well on a lot of picks but, depending on those questions, a few picks might have destroyed me.

i had 8 right on and that's missing the given Jason Smith to the Rams :bang:. If i would have had that right i would have had Andre Smith to the Bengals.Oh well.

I will probably be the one grading these down the road. It takes a long time to grade these.

For players that you had on the board, that weren't drafted in the first round will be slotted 2.1, 2.2 if you had two of them, etc and then I'll find the difference.

My results:
1. I had 28 of the 32 first round picks, but only four to the correct team/slot.
2. I had zero Cards' picks, but feel pretty good about some of my picks. My first round pick, Ziggy Hood, went immediately after us to Pittsburgh. And my second round pick, Shonn Greene, went two picks later to the Jets. Also the TE I thought the team would select (they never selected a TE), Richard Quinn, did get picked in the second round. All in all a lot of fun.

I have graded the paid drafters, but I will double check the results tomorrow.

If you are going to set a pay for contest and say you will run it. You should be willing to put in the necessary time to grade it out and complete it in a timely manner. Im just saying.

I sucked so badly that I lost interest.

However, here we are at the beginning of June and I have renewed interest in which of us holds the title of Draft Guru (and, of course, the dolleros).

Observation - When your team is more of a BPA team than it is a "needs" team, trying to predict its picks is really hard - since at each point where they draft, they may have a half-dozen options available.

(One pattern that's become pretty evident from the Leinart, Levi Brown, DRC and Beanie Wells drafts is that, especially in the first round, "in case of ties", the player that most fits a pressing need is the one that's selected. Also, the later you get in the draft, the more "need" gives way to BPA).

So...anyway...who won?

Really? Cool.

Now where's my money ;)

No, seriously, no hurry at all. I was very lucky that we weren't grading harshly for having guys we picked in the 1st fall too far. I had, oh, what was that CB's name? DJ Moore? Anyway, the one that fell to the 3rd round, I think, I had going in the 1st. Thank you for a forgiving scoring system :)

Long story about that scoring system, but I'll keep it short. We had a mini argument about it at Abomb's party. This was the compromise that we came up with in our other mock draft, so I figured that I would just use that system.
