Mallet could be the pick here, crazily enough.

I will make this statement now that Christian Ponder will end up being the top QB of this draft. The Vikes got a long term answer to their QB problem. HE is so far ahead of all the other QBs in this draft.

Packers, Bears and Vikings need to draft a bunch of O-linemen.

I disagree. I hate his injury history, and do not think he makes the players around him that much better. Smart yes..... NFL talent, not in this round IMO.

Could Mallet fall even further? If all the teams that need qbs keep picking them then someone like that could fall hard.

Me thinks Robert Quinn'll be spending more time in the Cards backfield than Marc Bulger.

Parcells still making old school picks. NO qb, no wrs, no rbs, no te. and he takes a guard. Idiot.

Pouncey better go thank his brother for this pick. He is not as good as him, but boy did that reputation move him up.

Unless the Skins trade again, im thinking they'll go QB and very likely the Arkansas boy.

And I will make the opposite statement. I will take every other QB in this draft over him.

Cousin texted me that Ponder is Chris Weinke part 2. Fell out of my chair laughing. Don't know what the Vikings are thinking.

I'm gonna guess no Mallet unitl rd2 at the earliest, too many off field issues.

He isn't with the Dolphins anymore, is he?

Lurking in the shadows. He owns Steven Ross. His GM and his coach . They don't fart without Parcells approval and guidance. Pouncey was a 2nd round pick at best.

I believe he has the qualities a QB needs to be successful in the NFL. HE is certainly not the best athlete of all the QBs but he is so much farther ahead with regards to QB intelligence, decision making, seems to have good mechanics, can make reads, can already take snaps from under center, quick release, etc.

All the things a NFL coach wants from his QB.
