I dunno...
Edge in round 2??
Then IOL in 3, and maybe WR or RB
or we can wait till the 4th and grab Jack Sawyer, he may fall that far...dude has the motor JG likes

we need interior oline...and none of the OT's remaining are worthy of an early pick, even to move them to guard...so we need to wait and draft an OT next year...plus Jones will get better now that he knows what he is up against.

Edge has tons of options..Princely, maybe Mike Green if his interviews were remotely good...can take more chances with a 2nd than you can a first and at some point talent has to win out..well, doesnt HAVE to...but in the NFL it usually does.

The talent at EDGE may be too good to pass up in round 2. OL is really thin now with the run that happened in round 1. Ersery and Jonah might be it for round 2. I don’t see a CB fit but I could be wrong. WR could be an option.
Trey Amos.

Theses guys fit Cards
Tate Ratledge G
Princely Umanmielen Edge
Carson Schwesinger ILB
Jaylin Noel WR
Shavon Revel CB
Nic Scourton EDGE

Of course I’ve been touting Princely forever. I prefer him to Scourton. I’m not sure Ratledge is better than Hernandez. Schwesinger is the kind of guy who could lead the defense for years. If they change their mind, Noel has speed to burn. Don’t think they go CB but Revel has round 1 skills when recovered from injury.

now that we are not talking first round capital - I would love to see us push our chips in and take a gamble on green who no doubt has the most potential to truly be a star.

If I were to guess who the cardinals take though: it feels Scourton or Jackson - top 30 visits, no off field concerns, etc

Trapilo at some point. He needs to get stronger but kid has a frame and is a BC guy.

I would be stoked with any of these guys

Given our inside LB situation I'd be ecstatic if the UCLA LB Carson Schwesinger was the pick.
the team had LB Demetrius Knight, South Car in for a visit (IIRC)

he is a late round 2 / early round 3 guy

I'd be surprised if we go Edge. They added a lot of internal pressure with Nolen, Campbell, Tomlinson and a healthy D-Rob. Plus adding Sweat and getting Beej back. PLayers I would think (hope) are in play.

Aireontae Ersery - They did meet with him, and could play tackle or guard in the league.
Tate Ratledge - Guard is a big need and he's a good player
Carson Schwesinger - Another area of need
Demetrius Knight - Depends which LB style they think fits best
Benjamin Morrison - I assume Will Johnson will be gone by the time we pick, and they may prefer Morrison anyway.

I reckon most of the edge guys will be gone by the time we pick and the only guys left on the board will be Landon Jackson and Bradyn Swinson.

I also think they might try to trade back here. There's quite a lot of depth at positions of need unless they want a tackle.

Here is who I would be looking at for the Cardinals:

Carson Schwesinger ILB
Nic Scourton EDGE
Princely Umanmielen EDGE
Donovan Ezeiruaku EDGE
Trey Amos CB
Jonah Savaiinaea IOL
Treveyon Henderson RB (Luxury pick but I think he could end up being the best RB in the draft)

That Weinfuss tweet said trading back in the 1st developmental player. Probably for Simmons. This would be the alternative IMO. Could be a steal.
