Makes no sense to me. Our red zone offense was lousy. We have no deep threats. Guard is still a need.

I want Kyle McCord with our 5th. If Kyler doesn’t play well this year, we need someone for the future. He has the tools and is good in the pocket. Clayton Tune sucks. I think Gannon and Petzig would prefer a bigger more traditional QB anyway.

At this point, our defense in practice is going to be a huge test for our interior OL. It'll make them better. It also may point to it being the focal point of our offseason next year. Perhaps a version of the upgrade-athon we did on our DL this year.

Either way, we will know how good or lack of it we are on our OL.

They drafted Gabriel and they have the ammo to replace all their QBs with a top QB next year if needed. He's really going to be hard pressed to be their long time starter.
