Big winds yesterday afternoon. BIG. Like wheelie-bins being blown over into the street. A lot of rain here last night. Thunder. Followed by a double rainbow. It was lovely.

Right now it is a dark and thundering afternoon. Woo-hoo!

Just got back from Pei Wei over at 3rd st and bell for lunch. While we were eating hail and pouring rain was coming down

GOLF BALL size hail. Yes, there really is such a thing. I've now got bags of it in my freezer. Piled up 6" against the walls. Bushes damaged. Pretty sure the south facing windows would have blown out but for the solar screens. CRAP THAT WAS EXCITING!!

Radar's down, they say. Here near Scottsdale Rd. and Dynamite we had a downpour about 20 min ago -- it was blowing so sideways hard to tell the amount - my gauge says 3/4 inch, but my guess from the washes is at least an inch and likely more -- and mothball-sized hail. Lots of it. Microbursts, too. There are warnings for more very severe hail and T-storms moving through the area in the next few hours.

Hey Linderbee you ok? That storm tore my complex up good. It was bad enough that there was no wind direction whatsoever. Trees down and i am surprised the hail didn't break my windows.

You mean the storm today? Not sure yet; still at work and Nick's just leaving work now. We got through last night alright, though.

Yea the storm today. In my time it was the craziest I have been in. When I come inside during a storm it is a bad one. At one point it was all hail no rain while it was ripping trees down at my place.
