I've lived in N Scottsdale for over 20 years, and I'd say we had some identifiable 'snowfall' on average every 3 years for the first 10-12 years I was here -- not as often more recently. My yard had accumulations that stuck more than an hour or two maybe 2-3 times in all those years.

Just drove home through a little snow squall, which accumulated slightly where it blew into sheltered edges around my yard, but now stopped. You're probably a couple hundred feet higher than me, 82, so you're more likely to have some stick.

Still some clouds out there, and I suspect it's not getting warmer this evening. Roads will be very nasty tonight, folks, be careful!

I believe I'm at about 2,600 feet Zenny... Not sure if that's higher than you, but it seems high enough for significant snow stickage!!!

Stickage is a great word :)

Dang it...windy, dark here...but nothing yet...radar looks like it's stationary over Scottsdale and Phoenix...not moving as much anymore.

No joke! It's actually snowing harder right now than it has at any point thus far! Huge, puffy flakes! And on my lawn, it's accumulating!!! I can't get over this!

I am gonna take full credit for bringing snow to the valley. Yes, it all started the winter Jersey Girl came to town. :)

It snowed at my place for like 30 minutes on Sunday night. It sucked cuz it made me sick. I got pics of it and everything......my kids made in the street melting snow angels.

I just had to turn my a/c on. It's 80 degrees in my house. I swear, we live in a weird part of the country.

I'm also happy because my Sissou and Elm trees are all budding this week...coming back from the big freeze!

Just waiting for the ficus to start growing again.

By the way, according to Chandler Mike's rain gauge, we got 1/4 of an inch last night in Chandler :)
