Well, Gee will be happy soon at least.

Yessir.. I got jack crap last year.. Been a good one this year so far.. Not crazy, but moderate storms.. Enuff to keep me satisfied and not feeling like a orphaned child..

Holy crap man.. I didnt realize how bad it was out there.. Just went to smoke and the rain is sideways.. I have porch roof over my front door that is about 7 feet long.. I open the door and my front door is drenched.. its flooding everything quick.. I literally watched the flood on the street rise in the 5 minutes I was out there..

South Scottsdale got pounded. Lots of loud thunder and bright lightening. Been storming for a good long time. I have a small river running outside of my apartment door.

Glendale really got hit hard. After we left the stadium it started to rain and rain hard. Lots of lightning in the sky too. Sideways rain like Gee mentioned. As we were driving the power went out for blocks and blocks. Trees down in the road, flooded streets, and pouring rain all the way home until near the Town Lake and then everything cleared up or was just a drizzle. Not raining much at all here in Mesa.

It was 20% this morning, but parts of the Valley are getting sprinkles already.

That's a Caribbean expression for jinxing something by talking about it -- like 'you had to put your mouth on it, didn't you?' I had family that lived there for many years, and that became a favorite expression.

Anyhow, I did NONE of the usual jinx/anti-jinx actions last night and finally got over half an inch of heavy rain. (Couldn't be 'cuz the guy graded my driveway 2 days ago...)

Pretty decent storm last night up here in North Scottsdale... I don't think it made it south of us though?? Tremendous lightening and a really nice, heavy & steady rainfall...

They say we should see a repeat peformance tonight... Turning out to be a pretty decent monsoon season after all...

Just had a little burst of rain for about 3min then it stopped. Looks like an outflow boundry just triggered a couple showers

Had about a 2min burst of rain yesterday at about 6:30pm, and then a beautiful rainbow... Very nice...

Looks like a repear performance might be shpaing up again this evening... HUGE build-ups are plentiful just to the north and east of me. Radar looking pretty decent as well...
