How can you F up a top 5 pick? by picking a guy who was not going to be picked in the top 10 who is just like leonard davis who took games off and had no heart AND we passed on the best rb to come out of college in a decade.

I want Graves head on a platter.

Problem is I believe this is the player the team wanted all along, and if your coaching staff, your player scouts and everyone else says this is the guy, how can you say it's messed up?

And don't say he wasn't going in the top 10 picks. Most draft experts had Ted Ginn in the bottom half of the draft and look at what happened going to Miami. There are no for sures in the draft.

Why does everyone keep calling Peterson the best RB to come out in a decade? He's not that special. Really, guys, better than Bush, Ricky Williams, Edge, Tomlinson, McGahee, McAllister, Alexander, Portis? Better than McFadden next year?

Find a mock draft that had Brown slipping out of the top 10. This guy is Levi Brown. We shrug now, but he will be solid and better than Davis in the long run because he WANTS to improve and he plays nasty.

how can u say he wants to improve when the biggest knock on him was his heart? He took games off.

and the cardinals had the heaviest O-line in the league last year which was one of the huge reasons they couldnt pass protect becuase they couldnt handle other teams speed. So we take a huge fat O-lineman? makes no sense.

Everything I read said that his effort was in question early in his career, but he turned it on last year. 323 is not Fat for an O-lineman, 360 is. As for speed, every scouting report I have read said that his problem is mechanical and easily fixed. So your suggestion was to do what? We know what you are complaining about, what was your solution? Trade first and second to get Thomas and ignore everything else? Draft Blalock in the second and hope he can play tackle?

Our line couldn't pass protect because half of the time players had NO idea who to block. Being "fat" as you put it has nothing to do with pass blocking ability. Your premier tackles are exactly or slightly heavier than Brown is coming out.

Actually, that's not true. It's factually wrong and in fact the most production ovrerall offenses had the heaviest lines. I believe it was Philly that had the heaviest line and they were the top rated offense. I think it was San Diego who had the second heaviest line. They seem to have had a good year on offense.

BTW, the lighter lines are the worst at pass protection. Denver and Atlanta, known for their smaller lines that rack up the rushing yards, are terrible at pass protection. They can't hold back the big DTs and the pocket collapses which is FAR worse than a DE coming around the outside because the QB can't step up. There's a reason why those teams live and die with the rollout passes.

No, he's fat, so he must suck (you should have read that with a sarcastic tone)......... Nothing is worse than pressure from the middle of a line for a QB.

How can you mess up a top 10 pick? Pass on a potential franchise QB for a WR when QBis your biggest need and the BPA is said QB at the time.

Or pass on a QB for a safety so that the next year you have to pass on one of the better WRs to come into the draft in years for a QB.

I call BS

someone who nobody hears from pre draft shows up on the day of and bashes the pick -- very convienent, free of having any pre draft stated points of view.

In my book, the only credible bashers are those that put in writing predraft who they would have rather had and if that player was available with the pick.

crawl back into your corner, AP is not the top draft prospect, I dunno what youve been watching. Alot of other GM's passed on him too.

what was AP going to do that Edge didn't behind a horrible line? You slam your head against a brickwall the wall wins every time.....wake up and stop crying, it's embarressing.

Graves admitted to Jurecki, on air, that AP was rated higher on the Cards board than Levi Brown. Just food for thought
