After all this, even with Jameis Winston signed, the Giants are still waiting on Aaron Rodgers. The Steelers are doing everything they can to sign him but they all sit there and wait. No matter how it plays out, the Giants aren’t done at the QB position.

ESPN Sources: The Giants and Super Bowl-winning QB Russell Wilson reached agreement today on a one-year deal worth up to $21 million, including $10.5 million guaranteed. The 10-time Pro-Bowl selection had been in discussions with the Giants, Browns and Steelers, but is opting for New York, where Wilson won Super Bowl XLVIII in MetLife Stadium. Now, Wilson is returning there as the Giants’ projected starting QB.

Russell Wilson and the Giants’ agreement now eliminates New York as a potential option this season for Aaron Rodgers.It also now leaves Rodgers and the Steelers in a position to work out their own agreement, if the quarterback decides he wants to play this season.But both former Steelers quarterbacks have landed in New York — Wilson with the Giants, Justin Fields with the Jets - and New York’s former QB now has the option to land in Pittsburgh.
