*Shudder* No, no I haven't. I was thrilled to get him. That pick really cemented to me the folly of going too far down the athleticism vs everything else path.
Just to double down on this. Simmons was a prospect with both traits and production. A very different scenario than Shemar Stewart.

Yes!! Simmons was almost universally always a top 10 prospect because of that. Stewart was kind of a fringe 1st round pick and that was based entirely on measurables. Now he's testing through the roof and made a couple play at the Senior Bowl practice and is being talked about around pick 10.

He looked good. Probably a solid 2nd rounder now especially if teams think he might be able to play RT as well. Always nice to see really large athletes moving smoothly.

Question for the draft aficionado‘s.

Been reading and hearing podcasts from the combine.

Is it fair to say that the draft just got even more congested in the mid 1st to 2nd range.

The only player I’ve heard hurt his stock is the Alabama G. Everyone else is moving up
