Foxsports still has not put up a ranking. Their heads must be exploding trying to reconcile the Cards' big win over Dallas. Rather than eat crow, they must have decided to take their ball and go home...

They finally updated theirs and have the Cards at 10 ahead of the Cowboys

It's not often that an Arizona Cardinals team can be described at "gutty" or "gritty." But when seemingly every break went Dallas' way in Week 6, the Cardinals kept pushing back until winning in overtime, showing the resilience teaching from tough guy head honcho Ken Whisenhunt is taking. The Cards look very dangerous at home ... the next goal for them is to "take this home show on the road" according to Coach Whiz. COOL STAT: The Cardinals (4-2) have a winning record after six games for just the third time since moving to Arizona in 1988. THIS WEEK: Bye

Cards up to #8 on both Yahoo and Foxsports:

8. Arizona Cardinals: At the very least, shouldn’t savvy, steady Edgerrin James still be valuable as a change-of-pace back?

While head honcho Ken Whisenhunt may have opened himself up to a RB controversy and rubbed his veteran back Edgerrin James the wrong way with a benching, the coach looked like a Whiz after Tim Hightower ran through the Rams with ease. The Cards have the best set of receivers in the league, and now a bruising Marion Barber clone at running back with a former MVP taking snaps ... and the rest of their division in 6-18. Book that playoff spot now. THIS WEEK: vs. 49ers (2-6
