Jerry Sullivan I want back as a WR coach

Your kidding right?

This is the same guy that was going to resign midway through the season. The same guy who had to be begged to even take the OC job.

He obviously doesnt want to be in AZ...good riddance and good bye!

Need fresh blood in here.

You've got your order of events backwards. He was first begged to take the OC job (which he didn't want), then, amid a dismal offensive season, he offered to step down--from the job he didn't ant in the first place.

Sullivan is one helluva WR coach. I'd take him back for that job in a second. We're going to need someone who can develop the WRs; as good as Boldin is he still needs to be caoched and Johnson is VERY raw.

I was throwing that out in any particular order. The problem is half way through the season he was going to resign. What a team player. Why not spend extra hours, times etc and try to "right' the ship? Instead he decides to resign?

You dont think there is anything wrong with that? I dont care how good a coach he supposedly is. (by all accounts he helped Boston turn into a one-season wonder. I wont give him credit for Boldin) point is, he should be gone and hopefully he is! I dont want a turncoat on this staff and neither will the new HC

No offense but didnt he stake his reputation on gilmore basically? Boldin got his skill through hard work and natural born talent. Baby goes out with the bath wayer in my view.

Boldin's great season, the year before that the Cards had a bunch of no names contribute great and the year before that Boston led the NFL in Recieving. Sullivan sucked as an OC, but the Cards WR's have remained consistent over achievers and I think Sullivan played a significant role inthis happening. I wouldn't mind if Sullivan was brought back as a WR coach.

He's developed a lot more WRs then have busted under him. I'll give him a pass on Gilmore (as long as he doesn't stay in his jock).

Sullivan offered to step down...IF it Coach Mac thought it would benefit the team. He wanted to stay a WR coach but the Cardinals talked him into being a OC. If he was brought back as WR coach I would be extremely happy.

Losing this badly probably has nothing to do with letting your talents go.

Have you seen the Chargers? Riley was let go, and Schottenheimer was to change things around. Somehow, San Diego ended up at 4-12.

Wasn't Blake suppose to be the answer? Now McCown.

Best of luck to Mac and his staff. Another in a long line of unsuccesful Cardinal coaches.

What is the common theme here Bill? You are you big waste of space.
